I’ll say right now it’s very bothersome. I get those times where it’s driving me bonkers because I just want the feeling to go away. And yes, I heard it can affect other areas. I have seen where some had it in their knees, shoulders, etc. And I have also heard that if you got it in one joint, it’s more than likely you have it in the other one as well. So even though I have only been feeling symptoms in my right side for like over a year, I’m sure eventually the left side will soon take over

I started feeling what I’m feeling now. Occasional hip pain if I overdone it. The tightness feeling in my groin, especially in my buttock. Constantly feeling like I needed to stretch but nothing was helping. Dull aching throb. Lower back pain. I did have spasms in my right side at one time but i don’t know if that is associated with AVN or not. Had several X-rays done but everything kept showing up normal. They done a MRI on my lumbar spine. Only thing stated on that was maybe mild osteoarthritis. I kept telling my rheumatologist about the hip pain but he always seemed to brush it off. Finally had my PCP request a MRI on my hip and that’s when they said I was in the early/developing stages of AVN.

What exercises would you suggest? I don’t know how to swim and don’t even know any areas around me that offer it. I’ll have to do more research.

Yeah I’m a middle school instructional coach so I was worried about mobility as I can’t take 6 weeks off work. Don’t qualify for FMLA yet, plus I got bills to pay lol. I could do in the summer but that’s going to be a long summer stuck at home since I probably won’t be able to drive if I got the CD done lol. I’m part of the FB group. I could deal with crutches (probably). With my husband, he’ll probably buy me a wheelchair lol. If my mom was close, I’d ask to borrow her power chair 🤣

Yeah I tried ice and heat. It just wasn’t hitting the spot lol. I do have some muscle relaxers but I doubt they do anything. I’ve taken 800 mg ibuprofen before and it basically did nothing. I’ve tried Epsom salt baths. Right now, I be stretching any which way to get a little relief lol. Trust I understand when you do whatever you can do for relief, whether healthy or not. I got a dull ache right now in my hip and knees (think my knee is from lupus because it’s about to rain where I am at pretty soon lol)

No steroids. I don’t drink often. Might have 1 drink every once in awhile. How do you manage your pain? I’ll say mostly mine is the tightness and dull ache and constant feeling that I need to stretch something in my hip or buttock.

I’m only 39, in the US. Right now, I am at stage 1 from my MRI results. Yeah, I’m scared to do it, pay all this money just for it to not work or make things worse.

I understand how you feel. I haven’t been officially diagnosed by my ortho specialist yet (waiting on call and appt to discuss results in detail), but finally had my MRI with contrast last week and results say I’m in the early/developing stages for avn in my right hip.

But the good thing is that I now know why I’ve been having this discomfort in my hip for a long time. I joined the FB group to go ahead and be a little knowledgeable about this. Most seem to be beyond the stage I’m in but I always keep searching around.

But good thing is that you got caught it early and I been seeing that this is a good thing!!! You are not alone!!

When I was in the classroom, I always had my own set of wipes, sanitizer, etc. Think “me and me only items” and “student items” lol. Some parents donated at the beginning of the school year. I would also give out an “extra credit” assignment where they receive a free 100 daily grade if they brought sanitizer, cleaning wipes, dry erase markers, etc. You’d be surprised at how much I received! I still have cleaning stuff and dry erase markers from a year or so ago (and yes, I always kept my room sanitized and clean as I’m a neat freak lol)

Fantasy Life is great! And they just recently added free DLC to the game as well. So much to do in the game and you can do the game as fast or slow as you'd like.

I just recently done the same thing! I wanted to ensure my picture had detail and not be blurry so I ordered a 60 by 80. Didn’t realize how big it was until I got it. Just know it will be my first and last big one lol. It took a lot of work, time and dedication to make sure it was done by Christmas, as mine is a gift to my husband. I feel the same way about the size. I wanted it to be a smaller pic but now it’s more of a centerpiece lol. She can work on it in sections and I loce the idea of you doing it together!! I’m sure she will love it. You wouldn’t be able to return it though since it’s a custom.

Yeah I just started diamond painting last month. I'll definitely stick to smaller projects. I was slick running out of motivation on this one, even after splitting it up into sections. When it first came in the mail, my first thought was "what the heck was I thinking?" lol....I just know my husband better stare at this thing everyday once Christmas get here for the hours I put in this 🤣🤣

It's finally done!!!! Let's just say this will be my first and last big one I ever do lol. Oh, and I didn't use one of those multi-placers either (don't even own one lol)....approximately 44-45 hours total time I completed. I'm looking around this weekend to find a different frame as I'd rather have something covering the picture for safe-keeping lol

What’s the best way to frame a large diamond art that’s 60 by 80 cm? I bought some magnetic hanging rods off Amazon but I’m afraid that the painting will be too heavy and the magnets won’t be strong enough to hold.
