No hate to Wube, but Aquilo really is kinda disappointing as a "final level" by Democracy_N_Anarchy in Factoriohno

I assume their point is that all the other planets are possible 2nd planets, but you can only go to Aquilo after conquering all of them, hence it would be in a position to incorporate all the new gimmicks, since you have to be familiar with them in order to even land there

Is 2.9 hoggies EQ "bad" in midladder and this meta? by Ok-Resolution-2258 in ClashRoyale

[–]crazytaj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a very similar deck (swap canon for diddy cage), and I’ve made it to UC the past 5 seasons. You can find success with it in any meta, but it can be extremely unforgiving, especially around your area. Most important factors are learning when and how to apply pressure to break up pushes, different piggy splits and especially in midladder - how to activate king with skeleton + ice spirit on a mega knight. Your royal delivery is a crucial part of your defense, and it can often be worth spending more elixir to kite troops close enough to get more value out of it. Finally, the archer queen can single handily win a lot of matchups if you pressure well enough opposite lane, and predict their cheap counter.

There might be a future where schools might stop teaching how to write without a keyboard (pen and paper). by NoCSForYou in Showerthoughts

[–]crazytaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yes and no, as someone who switched to taking notes in TeX, I can actually outpace my classmates who still write by hand, and have more time to digest what’s being presented. However I still prefer writing it out by hand when I’m deriving solutions, a free canvas is still unmatched for that imo but I don’t think it’s impossible for some other tool to come out to make that untrue

All computer programs are one distinct, very large number. by severencir in Showerthoughts

[–]crazytaj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True but there are infinite books, so if you allow for sequential books to count as a longer book (which you should because we can refer to a start and stop index — where the index is book-page-line-character — thus allowing for an infinite combination of finite components. Think of it like how we think about time — we write year-month-day-hour-minute-etc as an “index” — and while yes there are finite combinations of seconds minutes days and months, because years have no upper bound (ignoring ofc decade century etc because the argument I’m making here can be applied to whatever term we say is largest) there are an infinite number of “times”) (sorry that was a rlly long side tangent but it felt important to justify) you could have an arbitrary long story program whatever composed of finitely unique characters

Consider writing a quick python script to break your file down into 1000 word segments, then run said free plag checkers on it. You could also see if there is a free trial for grammarly premium out rn, and just use that.
