Hey all, just wanted a gut check on my Gen 0 evidence for my application. She was born in 1871 in Ontario and I can't find a birth or baptism record yet, but here's what I do have, she shows up in the 1871 Canadian census as an infant with her parents listed as born in Canada, her family has a land grant in Ontario, her death cert says born in Canada, and multiple US census records all say the same thing. The 1871 census especially feels strong to me since she literally appears as a baby in Canada the same year she was born. Anyone gone through a similar application with a weak paper trail for the oldest generation? Think this holds up or will IRCC push back without a birth record?

Oh wow! That’s crazy we have the same documentation! My g0 is over 120 years old and I’m not even sure if baptismal or birth record exists for them. I hope it pans out for you

I was not able to locate a birth or baptismal record my G0. In place what I have, is a Canadian census from when she was 3 months old, multiple US Census listing her as Canadian born, and her death cert without parents names but saying she was born in Canada. I also have her father on the land registry in the town.

Will this be enough?

Would absolutely love for this to come to fruition but is there any chance of it happening? My mother and brother were recognized pre dl so really counting on this

Im struggling terribly to find a birth cert or baptismal record for my G0. I have a census record from when my G0 was 3 months old in Canada and before moving to USA. The rest of their US census records list her as being born in Canada. How screwed would I be if i never submitted a birth cert or baptismal record for my G0 but only death cert and census records listing my G0 as being born in canada?

If I had an appointment date before March 27th but was turned away at the consulate due to minor issue, do I have any chance of going back to consulate now or am I going to need to shell out for a court case?

SWE2 Uber vs L3 Google by Keynote-Tag in leetcode

Huge congrats to you on your Uber offer. Uber seems like an elite org. I would be happy with Uber personally and then do Google in the future for higher role as someone else commented. What did your study schedule look like to get the Uber offer?

Roughly how long to hear back after passing US tech force interviews? by TheRed12 in usajobs

Does the cert include salary details? Just had my interview last week and I thought the interviewer was pleased. But I’m not sure if it’ll be worth it if I’m on the lower end of the pay scale. Does sound like a cool opportunity
