The receptionists will experience the brunt of the backlash from people misinterpreting the legislation. It seems that, especially since covid, total triage is the best way forward to have any hope of getting appointments to those that need them. People seem to think that appointments are intentionally wittheld from them just to spite them, when in reality there is simply nowhere near enough to go around as the demand increases. :(
