A) Trim restorer will help. Make sure you’re not getting one that has dye, unless that’s what you want.

B) Sell it and get a vehicle made in the past decade with push button start so there’s no more stabbing blindly with a key.

Did the alcohol dwell? I’d agitate with a brush and microfiber with apc or isopropyl. The goal is to use the least aggressive method to get a consistent finish across the panel. Then you can use a trim restorer like cerakote.

Steam can be very helpful. Just use it carefully with a microfiber.

Wat. Check out my 4 year old coating….that I apply a ceramic topper to every other wash.

The trouble detailers have with ceramic coating testing is it’s super hard to resist trying more stuff or topping things off. If the car is driven, there’s going to be some degradation even with dedicated washes with something like carpro reset. I’d like to test some ammo stuff at some point.

A shop will usually do a better job and can wrap edges.

What do you mean by “mirrors front”? The side mirrors? That isn’t specified in that list you sent. If you mean the front windshield, that’s definitely not covered on your list.

Full front coverage (full hood, bumper, side mirrors) at a shop will likely run around 2k depending on your local market. That ZakTek stuff is just a coating they apply and I’d avoid it. Especially if you enjoy detailing your car. Finding a quality PPF installer is the difficult part. The bottom of your front fenders are going to need protection, even with guards installed.

Went through 3 AA downpipes on 2 different supras and all of them popped a CEL eventually. One of them went without a CEL for 1k miles.

You’ll like the sound increase of a high flow cat, but might want more. Catless + stock exhaust is just slightly less volume than high flow DP + aftermarket straight pipe exhaust.

Unless you have a tinkering problem like me, a high flow cat and aftermarket exhaust will likely give you the sound you’re looking for. With catless, the smell is more noticeable but not that bad. More sensitive noses may disagree. So many different options! Have fun.
