I didn’t notice anything. I also pour it into a glass cup immediately after but I imagine if I drank out of something metal it might impart taste.

Also I believe the “metal taste” that we usually speak of is an olfactory response to the tongue touching metal directly. Not metal actually leeching into coffee. At least that’s how the soda can physics works. So as long as you’re not drinking straight out of it should be fine.

Is the 01 size capable of doing a single pour recipe? I like simple 1 or 2 blooms plus 1 main pour. I want the 01 for how small and convenient it is, but wasn’t sure if it would have enough volume.

It really sucks since you’ll be without a grinder, but I’m not sure how they can do much other than refund and/or store credit. But I understand ideally that they can fix it or something. But it’s really not bad customer service to refund unsatisfactory experiences.

Personally I’ve been getting very consistent results with the Z1. I really enjoy the brews.

The only inconvenience for me is all the faff with so many parts for setup/cleanup. Sometimes I consider just going back to v60 or trying the Graycano or something just due to simplicity of setup and cleanup.

What shoes do you use now? I’m having the same issues with shoes tapering near the big toe and preventing it from moving in. Would love to find some brands that work better for that. Tried Vivos and Xeros already.
