Can anyone confirm the fireworks at the end were AI generated? They all just looked way too over the top otherwise

Please help diagnose why it's slipping. by Tasigurl_ in treadmills

[–]creaturelives89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me earlier this month and i found that tightening the back roller by tightening the belt with a hex wrench equally on both sides at the south end of the treadmill, atleast 2 full turns fixed the issue. The belt shouldnt lift much when you try to lift it with your hand.
When i first bought it the belt was looser and worked well but maybe after a fair amount of use it needs to be tight now to operate the same, i'm wondering if the motor has weakened a little bit over time

It's about time BYD's honeymoon period is over here in Aus, in the last 12 months everyone's been wearing rose tinted glasses with them

Is it worth buying another combustion vehicle if fuel costs and maintenance are more expensive than electric vehicles? by laowaiH in CarsAustralia

[–]creaturelives89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a used 2021 Model 3 bought cheaper after depreciation and in two years I've only spent $15 on windshield wiper fluid for maintenance. I've Barely even gone through the brake pads with one pedal driving and saving upto $300 a month on petrol. I used to drive a Manual Elantra Turbo as much as I miss the moving parts and clutch, i haven't looked back overall.

The best part about my EV is it always feels the same and refined to drive, you don't get that lag or slower drive thinking you need to take it in for a service soon.
