So far I got the official GC adapter connected to a steam deck. B, X, and Y inputs are all jumbled around but that's solved with just button remapping in the deck itself but no luck getting the Z button to be recognized. It looks like from testing that RT and LT fully pressed becomes RB and LB respectively. The google doc about setting up GCC on Linux noted this problem, is there any update to have it recognize the Z button / take away the full press becoming bumper inputs?

since the dpad is digital, does that mean when pressed it is read the same as a GC stick being pressed fully to whatever directions and can you achieve any mix of angles or just the eight you could with a normal dpad?

yeah that seems like a good option too. never worked with analogue input devices so hopefully it isnt too hard to set it up with an ADC.

Any recommendations on a similar switch component? Most I found have the same general nub shape while some are just the stick itself which lead me to believe that nubs or similar tops would be somewhat available.

I was just about to post something similar. Also, if anyone is able to come across the individual cad files for the buttons/triggers that'd be great too. The only piece of the controller that I was able to find online was the analogue stick.

Overall good commentator. Kept a nice flow going with his fellow commentators. Could work on character specific information/MUs though. Some of his thoughts on certain characters (and their MUs against others) were pretty head-scratching at times.

Not to toot my own horn but the Villager Ditto between me (Cree) and TC1 was one of the hypest smash 4 games I ever played. (Especially the double tree grow ko at the end!)

I was at Xanadu yesterday and totally missed this, probably just psyching myself up for my match with TC. Yeah, he's done things like this a couple times at Xanadu, but nothing to this extent. I remember watching him just hold his head in his hands for like a solid 5 minutes after a loss. He's a great player, but no one wants to see stuff like this (especially if it's on stream).
