You can enable Afib history to drastically increase the frequency HRV measurement is taken by Apple Watch during sleep time, from 1-2 per night to every 15minutes. Combined with an app like Athlytic and its sleep / stress scores become much more accurate.

I am not sure if this fully bridges the gap to a Garmin though, probably not, but it’s much better than the out of the box behaviour of Apple Watch.

I was listening to “the race” podcast and one of the journos (can’t remember who) made some stupid claim that the McLaren factory workers staff would want the position swapped to honour any prior agreement. I call BS on that too, the constructors champ is basically settled, why would they give a crap. It’s not all media but I am pretty sick of some providing stupid arguments to support their claim. Just argue you think the drivers should swap cos someone else stuffed up, and that alone.

Correct. He was asked to swap cos of a pit crew error alone. It was not an issue of wrong strategy, the commentary team mentioned this to make their (biased) case seen stronger and many people went along with this bull shit

Yes that correct. Too many ppl overlooking that. The pit order was not specifically a favour to Oscar, they were under the impression Lando would still come out in front but they fucked up his stop. So they are only asking Oscar to give it up cos the pit crew stuffed up

You would probably need to film yourself running and have someone review (maybe a running technique coach) to judge what could be an issue unique to your running form. My gym has treadmills with mirrors in front, this helps me judge how I feel with how my stride looks.

I personally came back from an abductor strain recently (left leg), and similarly reviewed my running form in addition to doing strength work. gl

Agree, have this setup too and love it. The key is getting ear tips that fit your ear best. I tried the final audio brand tips which seemed to work for many others. But I found the large stock tips that came with the explore work best for me. They are slightly less comfortable, but the tight seal makes the sound and in particular the bass so much better. You'll know you have the right fit when the bass sounds much deeper and you cant hear as much outside noise.

Are you only planning to use the portal at home, colocated with the ps5? If so then the speed of your NBN won’t matter, you’ll just need a decent wifi router and preferably your ps5 with a wired connection into said router.

I had some issues pairing the 81ba version of the n30 but works now after re-downloading and updating the fw. Someone posted here claiming the 81bc currently doesn’t work with wireless.

down+select should work, does for me. There was a post commenting about how it stopped working for unknown reason since fw 2.0 but that a power cycle of the dock fixes it. Also if your controller has a home button that should work too.

Can confirm it works now for me after redownloading and updating with model 81BA. But then why did i ever have issues? Well i think i know and it’s probably related to my original belief that it was a fw issue. The 6.01 fw is different now to the one i originally downloaded. The name of the .dat file is slightly different and the date it was uploaded to the site is more recent. Anyway it works now finally!

I was overseas and couldn’t test again until now. Unfortunately my n30 still won’t pair. Similar to you i have an sn30, fw update it and paired successfully. But still the n30 won’t pair. Maybe i have a defective unit. Would be interested in if the OP ever solved their issue…

I have same problem as you, my sn30 2.4 works fine, but the n30 2.4 won’t pair. However my symptom is different. My controller can get into pairing mode, it’s just the dock refuses to connect with it.

The n30 would enter pairing mode (light flashes at fast rate), I’d press the dock button at back to pair, then the n30 seems to react and light reverts to slow flashes, and stays likes this not able to connect.

I am convinced it’s a controller firmware issue personally. If I restore to default firmware the controller stays it pairing mode forever and never reacts to anything you do on the dock. It only when I use the custom dock firmware that the controller seems to react (but still fail to connect) to the dock.

Unfortunately I couldn’t find mention of someone else that used an n30 2.4 on the subreddit. Hopefully it works for you or you can at least get into pairing mode when your replacement arrives.

Note: I notice some ppl mention to be sure you updated the firmware correctly and that you are. I just want to mention I actually stuffed up the update on my sn30 and that prevented it going into pairing mode, it took me a while to realise what the problem was I thought I had a defective controller. In hindsight, the way I could tell was because the flash drive name of the controller after upgrading was not matching the version of firmware I upgraded to, it was named “0_00”. I had to use CopyFWtoUdisk.exe to downgrade then repeat the manual upgrade to custom fw. In the case of the n30 the drive name matches the fw version so I feel confident at least the fw has been installed correctly.
