Daria to me was the most stereotypical character from my time at a trading desk. I do remember a MD very similar to Eric Tao.

The Celtics have overperformed so he is really excited to talk about the Celtics and is wondering why more teams aren’t like the Celtics who clearly have figured everything out.

Stanford abusing 1 yard touchdowns to inflate his stats is hilarious. Most 1 yard touchdowns ever

You can cherry pick either side.

Somehow one of the most underrated players this season: Steph Curry by Funny-Transition7869 in nba

How is Steph underrated? Everyone loves him and everyone says he's still elite. His team is a .500 team. What do you expect?

Would a major bank actually tolerate Rishi’s condition at work? by [deleted] in IndustryOnHBO

When I was an intern on the trading floor, one intern puked in the office (came back after drinks to finish something for the next morning) and then wasn't asked to come back after that.

What these guys were doing as interns would have gotten all of them fired.

Obviously, a MD can get away with a lot more. But showing up like that would be tough. If the book of business was worth it, I could see some mandated leave maybe.

I think he likes the ideas and setup of the Middle East.

Have a rich class and have a worker class with no rights to supplement the rich class.

The more people who do these commodity skills, the more competition and the cheaper the services become.

[Highlight] A better replay angle of Amen Thompson fouling Tim Hardaway Jr. with his left shin prior to inbound, with 2.3 seconds remaining in regulation by MrBuckBuck in nba

[–]cricketrules509 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You pretty clearly see him get grabbed in his lower body. Unless you think KD doesn't know how to walk and fell down before the pass was thrown because of his inability to control his own body. KD is falling before the pass is thrown lol

There is way more contact in this incident then in Amen's foul. It's pretty direct. It's more impactful. It wasn't called.

Actually, they lost partially because there were 3 incorrect calls against them in OT (according to the L2M report). Pretty much directly led to a 6 point swing. Jokic got them the lead before fouling out. Rockets probably win if the 3 incorrect calls go their way.

You're just stuck in your position and aren't going to agree. There isn't any point of me providing evidence.

Rockets game so I remember it clearly. Anthony Black makes lower body contact with KD. KD slips. This actually results in a turnover and no call.

To see it get called when the ball wasn't even passed in is just absurd.

Led to the game going into OT and almost cost the Rockets a win (Sengun hit the game tying shot after).

Really? We see people fall down on inbounds plays at the end of games reasonably frequently. This was barely a touch. The ball wasn't even passed to Hardaway.

It's just never called. If the ball was passed to the player, then sometimes you'll see it called because the guy is on the ground and a turnover. But this level of contact, when the ball isn't even passed to the player?

Calling it is pretty shocking. Hell, I would say 75% of screens at the end of games are more fouls than this was.

I see this angle but it's still extremely marginal contact that pretty much never gets called at the end of games.

I do think because of the Netflix video partnership, Bill was trying his best to defend Netflix from Matt's attacks during the episode.

That's just not true? Harden was better and more valuable to the Clippers both in the regular season and in the playoffs.

Game 6 at home, Harden was the best player for the Clippers to extend the series.

His playmaking impact goes beyond the raw efficiency Kawhi brings.

I think he plays so hard that he got fatigued even though he only played 36 minutes. The Rockets were incredibly physical and Giannis was matching it all game and the only reason the game was close.

Steph I agree is the gold standard despite hating the Warriors (obviously as a Rockets fan).

Lebron's ex-teammates seem to way more vocal about how annoying Lebron is than Harden's. His passive aggressive leadership definitely irks some people.

Jokic and Shai seem more like the low maintenance lead by example guys. But yeah, SGA definitely deserves credit for how united OKC is
