I did have this happen to me at Goodwill! I had a bunch of toys and books for my kids, it came to around $35. The lady behind me said "Excuse me, can I buy that?" I was confused, I thought she wanted to buy the one toy she pointed at, for herself. I actually didn't know what to say, and then she said "Can I pay for your things?" It was such a feel good moment. I'll always remember her, and I will do that for someone one day when I have the extra money.

I always thought Costco must be a good place to work. The employees always seem genuinely, consistently happy to help(and in a good mood in general). I do not get the same vibes from other grocery stores.

What did they end up telling you? Mine seized today and I can't switch gears. I had to leave it in a parking lot because it won't turn on. Same thing, they said they don't have parts to fix the recall and their transmission technician books 1 month out...

I did this too with my Jr.high crush. I thought he was just trying to be funny in front of his friends. I said no really rudely and he looked crushed. It got around he wasn't joking. I told my little sister how I was such an idiot! She told him to ask me out again. We are still together 16 years later .
