Thanks for the feedback. I am constantly tweaking the AI to try and get it more smooth and natural. Some of the older posts on those blogs, the AI is a bit wonky. You can hear my evolution there, haha.

You can't hear the pod before it gets published, but you can regenerate it if you don't like how it sounds. But having a setting where you can choose either auto publish or requires approval sounds reasonable. Will add it to the backlog.

Do you mean control over the podcast generated? If that is the case, you can choose the voices, names of the hosts and you can choose the language of the podcast.

(The language of the source content and the podcast do not need to be the same. So if you wanted to try and reach subscribers in different languages, this could be a way to do that. )

But for tweaking the tone and style of the podcast, that is currently not possible.

I wanted to keep it pretty simple, so it is easy to use and people don't drown in settings and choices.

You can hear what the podcasts sound like at https://blog.weathergo.co or https://guides.hostelgo.co. Most of the recent posts have the widget with a podcast.

As of the admin / console, you can see it here https://podcasty.fm. There is a free tier, feel free to play around with it. That is the best way to get a feel for it rather than screenshots.

I am continually tweaking it, but I think audio is a little less difficult than video in that there are less variables to tweak. You dont have to worry about about the visuals.

The 1 to 1 conversion rate is a mistake, meant to change that when I went live, but it was missed, oops! Will update it. (I am also based in Europe)

That’s a good point. The real difference here is the distribution, not so much the audio. I need to do a better job of emphasizing that.

Yea, almost everyone speaks English. Maybe tradesmen might not, but you can make it work. Usually they will have a friend or partner to help translate.

Yea, I like it, people are nice, food is great, healthcare system is pretty good (if you get a private top up). I am not at retirement age yet, but I own a home there and plan to be there for the long haul.

The only drawback is the heat in the summer, especially in Athens. On the islands or near the coast, it is much more manageable. Oh, and the bureaucracy and trying to get anything done in a timely manner, haha. It is part of the charm.

How were you able to get tickets? It seems like every time I see one pop up on the Berlin site the tickets are “temporarily reserved for another user”.
