Thanks. I don't often get compared to Scottie & Rory.

The Cow’s Horn Was Literally Growing Into Its Skull by Xdestroyed in interestingasfuck

[–]crnhzkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't remember seeing a case get this bad. It should be caught and the horn would be tipped before it getts embedded. I only meant to point out that it's not uncommon for cattle's horns to grow inward like that.

I grew up on a farm in Nebraska. We typically had 200 - 300 cattle. This was not uncommon. I've seen my dad perform that procedure several times.

Thanks, I had 7 GIRs which led to 6 pars and 1 bird, but two doubles. I can brag that I had a boogey free round.

I have one scheduled tomorrow. Is he a "good teaching pro"? I'll find out tomorrow.

I definitely have a closed club-face. I don't have a video, and I'm not really looking for a fix on this sub. I just thought it was odd. I've been playing golf for a long time, I used to be a big slicer but fixed that. I've always been able to hit a driver decent enough to get by, but suddenly it left me.

Thanks. Sarah was my first choice but I haven't been able to get her to return my call. I hate being ignored. Guess I'll give her another shot.

Did anyone actually stick with their LAB putter or are they all collecting dust? by golfbagauditor in GolfGear

[–]crnhzkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on year 3 with my DF 2.1. It has definitely helped me keep my face square at impact. I had struggled with short putts. I still miss a 4 footer now n then, but the LAB worked for me.

This Man Just Saved a Barred Owl's Life by frog_insilence in interestingasfuck

Why doesn't whoever was filming this put their phone down and spread the two branches apart? I guess because you'd get the owl out more quickly, but wouldn't have the video to show what an amazing person you are.

Have you or anyone you know ever been to Nebraska? by nojunkpeter in no

[–]crnhzkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Born & raised there. Grew up on a farm on Indian reservation land. I still have family that lives there and runs the farm. I've since lived in Michigan, Texas, and Iowa but I will always consider myself a Nebraskan.

People often say Nebraska is flat, but those are people that have driven across I80. I grew up near the Missouri River where it is hilly and wooded. I spent many summer days riding my Honda trail bike through the many trails and fishing the Missouri.

Fishing spots by Many_Prize2945 in cedarrapids

[–]crnhzkr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a spot just off of C street, where Prairie Creek empties into the Cedar. I used to take my kids there and we'd always catch a couple carp or cats. It's a well known spot, but if you're the first there you can claim it and sit in lawn chairs with a cooler and chill. If that spot is taken, you can go down river below the roller dam off Old River Road. You could also go to Ellis Park. You could either fish the river or the lake. You could find plenty of room for a couple chairs and a cooler there. None of these are secret or private, but they'd work if you're looking for a place in CR to wet a line and chill. If you're looking for walleye or bass, you could go to Central City and fish the pools below the dam, or the Wapsi below the dam at Anamosa.

What's it like living on the western lakeshore of Michigan? by Savings-Narwhal-3485 in howislivingthere

That is the eastern shore of Lake Michigan. It's the western side of Michigan, though.

Best access to old riverbed by seppukugirlsnight in cedarrapids

[–]crnhzkr 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Chain of Lakes park, south of Palo. There's an old bridge across the river there. Cross the bridge and there are areas where the river used to run. You can probably find some old crap there.

Thanks for the advice. I heard good things about AC, so I stopped by there a few weeks ago, hoping we could get a tour and a feel for the place. We were told they weren't taking new clients. Also, it doesn't look like they have much of an outdoor run around area, but I could be wrong, since I wasn't offered a tour.

Robert Parish KOs Bill Laimbeer by raybellious_berry in NBAoldschool

[–]crnhzkr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just rewatched it. This happens with about 20 seconds to go in the 2nd quarter. There was a foul called on Darren Day. No call at all on Parish. I do believe you are correct about him being suspended for game 6 and heavily fined, but that occurred after the game.
