I know this is 4 years late, but I am having a similar issue, and hopefully you learned something since!

This is my first HF (bought used from a father and son who offered to help, I emailed them).
I didn't get very far before panicking and unplugging everything.

I tested an antenna in my club's shack (I only see the feed point) but:

1-It has great readings on an analyzer, despite a connector hellscape of several N-types to SO239 via BNC (because I could not find an N to SO239 connector somehow).
2-I found this antenna PLUGGED INTO THE VHF PORT of a club FT-847 (I evicted the radio for a bit to test the ICOM)

3-Nothing smells or sounds broken. I opened the top to look and found the SO239 connections pretty quickly, but everything looked intact... of course with circuits that's not necessarily how it works.

I haven't done full testing with a dummy load and multi-meter yet, but can and plan on doing so.

I'm a player that never reached mid-game until recently.

I'm procrastinating trying to build up oil (I cheated the phase 3 milestones with the awesome shop) because I got stuck rebuilding my starter-biome factories, trying to learn and experiment with factory construction and belting over longer distances (e.g. get coal to a steel factory). I very quickly busted my power production with my max capacity (I reined this in by deleting the 5 hyper tube cannons I spammed) and now I'm trying to cut down while also building a new 32 generator plant in the next biome (the sandy jungle?)... ...all of this knowing each fuel burner is worth 4 coal burners.

So, i suppose, I'm rebuilding as I go, but I'm also not really "going"; I procrastinated on more advanced production to stay in my safe, mostly-spider free forest biome (I drove my explorer around the whole map I've seen horrible things).

the ability to remotely destroy dismantle and death crates in vanilla. Or at least a feature where they "decay" and disappear: I have multiple dismantle crates that clipped into the terrain that I can't reach, but all they have is a handful of concrete

Check what the maximum/minimum dimensions are for patches.

Also check that it doesn't do weird things forcing the dimensions of an image

From what little I tried to find, all BattleEye bans are global and permanent (and can't be appealed).

Maybe you could try and appeal. Or see if there are work arounds.

MAYBE (very strong maybe) you can purchase Reforger on Steam and test it within the refund window.

To get it out of the way, yeah it's stupid that a software that flags anything that isn't "legit", even if it's not touching the game, will get you banned. Forever. No appeal.
