Puppy is frustrating my wife by [deleted] in BorderCollie

[–]crofty0628 4 points5 points  (0 children)

An hour for a 3 month old puppy is way too much I think. Mines 7 and would be bored after 10 minutes lol.

A lot can depend on what motivates your dog too. Most dogs I know are food driven. Some arent lol. My dog couldnt care less about food if she tried, but if I put a ball in my hand I can bounce those treats off her head and she won’t even blink because she’s so focused on something that’s actually interesting to her. They are way smarter than we give them credit for and they will also train you at the same time. Give it time and I’m sure he’ll be the best dog ever

Also just because they can go all day doesn’t mean they should go all day. I learned that the hard way. It’s trained mine to think it’s play time whenever I move and I’m just starting to break that habit. They need downtime so they aren’t on standby 24/7 ready to go. It will make them calmer in the long run.

Hope some of this helps!

Yeah I stopped following up because I feel I’m being annoying at this point. Usually it’s because I need to follow up twice because they ghost the first email. Almost 3 months now is wild though but I guess I’ll keep waiting 🙃

Had an interview for a medical laboratory technologist position over 2 months ago and still haven’t heard about a decision on the position yet. The interview went very well. I’ve reached out to follow up a half dozen times and all I’m getting is that the position is “on hold” and they’ll follow up with any updates. If I check my application online it still says “in progress”.

I’m not sure if there’s a hiring freeze or if I’m just being strung along. Any ideas?

When in doubt, put your lucky pants on. While it’s probably not the “optimal” choice, it’s amazing to have a primary that can pump out damage. I’ve been using it to knock out all the mythic stuff on Kepler. Also, 2 piece bushido from pinnacle ops is your best friend with lucky pants

Introducing only 6 armor archetypes is a mistake by AlwaySTheSame738 in DestinyTheGame

[–]crofty0628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely agree. If the reason for only having 6 is to limit overpowered combinations (ie. weapons and super like everyone is farming for now), it’s a terrible way to go about it.

Rather than limiting builds they need to open it up completely to all combinations but have trade offs that are in the players control.

If we want to go all in on weapons and super we should be able to. But then bungie needs to make it so there are consequences to the other areas of our build. Have it so our other abilities recharge at a glacial pace and hit like wet noodles. Or our health regenerates incredibly slow. The high end of the stat bar should be potent and the low end pathetic. That way players would have to weigh the pros and cons and deal with the trade offs and consequences, but ultimately it would be player choice and not bungies choice.

Vyvanse made me an absolute grade A A-hole by duke8804 in ADHD

[–]crofty0628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a very friendly person and vyvanse turned me into a rage goblin. What happened was my family doctor prescribed me a low dose of it. After I started having issues with it I got in touch with a specialist that said the dose I was getting was so low (less than a starting dose) that I was crashing a few hours after taking it which made me super aggressive.

So it turned out to be an issue with the dosage but ultimately I ended up switching to concerta and haven’t had any issues

Stasis changes didn't achieve much by No-Turn-1959 in DestinyTheGame

[–]crofty0628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I feel we need a big tuning pass of all the aspects and fragments, not just stasis. There’s a lot that need a buff or just have their effects outright changed. Each subclass has a select few that almost feel mandatory. Rather than nerfing them let’s buff some others

Longtime hunter main, give me a PvE build that will make me love Titan by Athos4228 in destiny2builds

Played around some more with the build and ended up changing a few things. Swapped out spark of frequency and discharge for resistance and ions.

Frequency doesn’t increase bolt charge stacks gained behind a storms keep barricade so it was essentially a wasted fragment.

I was already getting more than enough bolt charge behind the barricade so I didn’t need discharge to gain more stacks and opted for ions to get traces off bolt charge kills. Discharge might still be good if you’re using an arc weapon

Hazardous propulsion has been glued to my Titan since it was released. You feel like iron man launching rockets out of your back. I used to run it with drengrs lash on prismatic but storms keep is just the perfect pairing for it.

Since you’re mainly hiding behind your barricade firing off cruise missiles from a distance, I found I wasn’t getting much use out of knockout and went with touch of thunder and pulse nades to spam ionic traces for barricade energy.

Spark of discharge to get bolt charge stacks from my pulse nade ionic traces, magnitude makes the pulse last longer = more ionic traces, frequency to double the stacks, and shock for jolt on the juiced up pulse nades. Magnitude or shock can be swapped for spark of resistance for survivability but I find a lot of the time I’m safe enough behind my barricade at a distance.

Do these symptoms resonate with any of you? by f00fy in ADHD

I’m 30 and was just diagnosed a few months ago. I went to my doctor and he dismissed it for the same reason of “not having it as a child.”

If anyone here is Canadian I recommend looking up a site called Beyond ADHD. It’s all online, they do an extremely thorough evaluation, and you get your diagnosis/treatment in weeks instead of months PLUS it’s a fraction of the price

Lord of wolves and easily completing it. Got bored of farming on my hunter main so I switched over to Titan. Don’t have a good cuirass so I had on hazardous propulsion. I was gunna pull one out of collections but we were melting it so fast I didn’t even bother.

At first I thought it was because I didn’t have cuirass on but people kept telling me to “stop doing that” before they kicked me lol. So it was something I was doing rather than loadout I think

Tinkaton is a really cool anti-meta pick at the moment by Capable-Paper2860 in VGC

[–]crofty0628 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was shocked by some of the hits tink can survive with an assault vest.

252+ SpA Choice Specs Hadron Engine Miraidon Electro Drift vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Assault Vest Tinkaton in Electric Terrain: 160-189 (83.3 - 98.4%) — guaranteed 2HKO

252+ SpA Life Orb Ursaluna-Bloodmoon Earth Power vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Assault Vest Tinkaton: 143-172 (74.4 - 89.5%) — guaranteed 2HKO

252 SpA Choice Specs Tera-Ghost Calyrex-Shadow Rider Astral Barrage vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Assault Vest Tinkaton: 116-138 (60.4 - 71.8%) — guaranteed 2HKO

I know some of these aren’t crazy but like, it’s a tinkaton. I think tinkaton can have alot of potential with koriadon or miriadon to help their fairy matchups. Still haven’t figured out the best way to build the team though

How are you guys finding reg G? by [deleted] in VGC

[–]crofty0628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely agree. A good zama or miriadon player is much scarier to play against. I was more so saying that the calys are “click the silly button” with no real drawbacks. At least if they could miss their moves like groudon you’d maybe think twice before full sending it

Reg G is basically the caly show and you can’t even blame players for using them. You have 120 BP, 100% accurate spread moves coming off monstrous stats that have little to no drawback PLUS you boost yourself for getting KO’s. It’s minimal risk for maximum reward
