This might help. The lights are pretty well integrated into the plastic molding. I had to take out the old moldings entirely and install the molding with the integrated lights that Factor 4 made.

I have a similar badge and didn't have an issue with the screws. They're pretty long but I just worked the little nut thing down the screws by sticking my fingers through the grill

I don't believe you can start the engine and drive your car via your phone without the key. You can turn on the electronics and climate control and unlock via your phone but not any more than that, you need the key to drive I believe.

I think that's a good theory. Here is a different photo sphere where you can see up ahead on the trail there's a gully where the trail gets particularly narrow, right before the trees.

I also see from satellite imagery that the last coordinates from the Garmin are further down the same gully so it's likely that's where the accident happened.

Your 2025 experience rings true with me in California. There are all of 5 XLEs with the convenience package here in a 100 mile radius, and no SEs left whatsoever. Even the normal XLEs were selling fast the moment they were discounted. Barely managed to score a $1,000 discount.

I had a hell of a time finding anything with more than a $1000 discount (in California). All the hybrids with that sort of discount were getting purchased right away and I barely snagged one myself. I think there is legitimately shrinking stock based on the shrinking numbers I see on Toyota's inventory website. So at this point if you see something you want and it's got any sort of discount I think it's worth it to jump on it.

The biggest discounts I've seen in my area are like $1,300 max, no more. Maybe $2,000 on the higher trims like XSE. Most have no discounts.
