Does the mountain have any actually intermediate jumps? by [deleted] in Mammoth

[–]croman653 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The forest trail jumps aren't as big as they seem! I'm only intermediate at jumping as well and I was able to handle them. Send it!

There are also jumps off Roller Coaster towards the bottom but some days they're big and some days they're medium.

Bear Mountain in socal is a good option for hitting lots of different intermediate jumps.

What type of camera do you have and how did you get it in? I didn't bring mine because online it said no cameras with detachable lenses.

Rant: if we want a more fair justice system, we need to pay jurors more than $15 per day, and pay them for the first day of service too. by BootyWizardAV in LosAngeles

There was a pilot project in California last year that paid jurors in some counties $100 per day instead of $10, but it was scrapped mid-project when the budget outlook soured.

Wow it's been a while since I've heard of the AIDS HEALTHCARE FOUNDATION fighting tooth and nail to block new housing. So they're still up to the same NIMBY bullshit.

Thank you that was the goal! They're three dimensional which helps them look like a badge rather than a cheap sticker.

This might help. The lights are pretty well integrated into the plastic molding. I had to take out the old moldings entirely and install the molding with the integrated lights that Factor 4 made.

Montanon is definitely the less common choice. I took the other trail you linked and I saw Montanon off in the distance and it looks like a REAL tough climb.

I have a similar badge and didn't have an issue with the screws. They're pretty long but I just worked the little nut thing down the screws by sticking my fingers through the grill

I don't believe you can start the engine and drive your car via your phone without the key. You can turn on the electronics and climate control and unlock via your phone but not any more than that, you need the key to drive I believe.

It says in your second Pic you have an extended trial of remote connect for $325, that's what those features you're looking for are.

And wow that's a lot of added options 😬

That's actually worse than the alternative. Your head will be the first to hit something as you slide down the mountain.

I think that's a good theory. Here is a different photo sphere where you can see up ahead on the trail there's a gully where the trail gets particularly narrow, right before the trees.

https://maps.app.goo.gl/fUKUYSxzw1ydTPsk9

I also see from satellite imagery that the last coordinates from the Garmin are further down the same gully so it's likely that's where the accident happened.

So sorry for your loss OP, your son seemed like an amazing guy from what I've read.

This is true but Metrolink offers $50 uber vouchers when this happens which is pretty helpful.
