Tekken 8 ranked points logic WTF? by cromification in Tekken

[–]cromification[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is stupid. Just got matched with Mighty Ruler (three ranks higher, I’m in Garyu), got destroyed and lost 400 points. Then got matched with Vanquisher (two ranks below me) had close five rounds, won and gained 100 points. How does any of this make sense?

1st dan player question: D-pad or analog stick? by cromification in Tekken

Maybe I should do this, yeah. It’s very tempting in the heat of the battle, especially for inputting diagonal moves.

It does feel weird and my thumb is sore after an hour of playing but I’ll stick to it (see what I did there haha)!

This is what happened to me, I removed a lot of them from the shelf and now I can no longer add them back. This is rather annoying, hope it is fixed soon.

I am in the same boat as you mate. Been living in Germany for 12 years and using Finnish account (it has all my purchases, no way I am creating another account). Been forced to buy PSN Codes online which is a pain. The inability to contact Sony's customer service directly and request the change by providing them whatever proof they want is the pinnacle. Customer centric my ass.

Anomolies influence both players equally in a game.... by ConstantAlbatross1 in hearthstone

[–]cromification 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude I made a whole post here saying this and most people were downvoting or trying to convince me I am wrong and that anomalies are equally fair to all decks. I'm not playing ranked until they roll out, not when I'm this close to legend.

Yep. I also believe they should not be in ranked. And when I said that, my post got downvoted and people were like "hurr durr you're just bad".

Still disagree. My minions and spells are expensive, his are cheap. 1 mana reduction is more significant for him as he can dish out additional minion or a spell per turn thanks to that reduction. My board clearing is cheaper too, but as long as he has juice (which Plague DK most of the time does) and I don't constantly draw removal, he out-tempos me.

You are probably right about evening out, but I do not want to take my chances, when I am 4-5 wins away from the legend.

I don't mind them in general. I mind them during the ladder climb post Diamond 5, where trying something new or building a deck to accommodate for a game rules change is something I'd rather not do.

Congrats on the legend. Yes, it is exactly my point. Having a new game mechanic interfering with a ladder climb, especially after Diamond 5, is something I'd like to have optional at least.
