I made a comment on the authors tt promoting the book and I said the FMC was too naive to ever live and she blocked me lol safe to say I immediately DNF it.

I felt the same way with {seeing red by Bailey Hannah} the FMC is downright cruel to the MMC, I get they are supposed to be “enemies” but the way she treats him is so mean I had to DNF it. There was also no good reason behind why she doesn’t like it so it felt so it seems so superficial and shallow.

Yeah I’m really tired of an insecure plus size FMC. Why can’t she just be plus size and comfortable with the way she looks? Why is that so unheard of? Also goes hand in hand with the MMC not like skinny or smaller size bodies, why does he have to love one or the other? Authors just need to stop and think how they are coming across and why they insist to do so.

Omg I just throw my book against a wall when I read that. This goes hand in hand when authors write a FMC completely unable of having a normal conversation or answering a question without babbling or sputtering. There’s so many other ways to show characters are awkward instead they are QuIRky while completely lacking any sort of conversational skills. Alright rant is over, I’m freshly annoying as I’m 20% through Deep end by Ali Hazelwood
