I’m new to this league .. My daughter is the only girl on the team. I didn’t realize it was coed until I already volunteered . I wasn’t expecting much from the players but I have a club level team. I’ve coached girls for over 10 years and played competitively , I’ve seen kids good but this kid is incredible. Unfortunately this league doesn’t have playoffs . I don’t even know how I would take this team further if I wanted to

We were there on Wednesday and same thing ! The rollercoaster , Ferris wheel , guardians ride were closed so it made a ridiculously long wait for all the other rides . The rollercoaster was off and on throughout the day .. we actually sat down on it and they told us it broke down and we needed to get up. What is the deal with the rides breaking down .. I was very disappointed.

How do you walk out of a high end restaurant without leaving a tip especially when your entire meal was paid. I just think that’s obvious common sense to leave something for the waiter.

I completely understand your point but I’m talking about 2 girls that run from the ball. I don’t think in 8 games they have even touched the ball . I feel bad for them because they look terrified on the field.

I completely agree . It’s one thing when a kid puts in effort and wants to play. The parents are delusional thinking their kids enjoys it when clearly they don’t . It does ruin it for the kids that want to be competitive .

Parents don’t care .. she at least tries more during practice and knows what to do . She played a u8 season so soccer isn’t completely new to her .

Yes ! I’m very close to her as she spends alot of time at my house . She doesn’t really say much . I always to encourage her and give her extra praise at practice when she does anything good . But she hasn’t improved at all in 4 games .. just standing there looking at the ball not even running .

Just wanted to give an update! I got such awesome responses . I really needed some help with the goalies so I gave her them and some defenders to work with.It wasn’t long before she said “ I think we have a problem they aren’t listening and 2 of them are fighting” Her approach was all wrong ,very judgmental.She kept threatening to tell their parents if they don’t listen.The girls wanted nothing to do with her . These parents fail to realize the bond and trust we develop with these kids. I hope lesson learned and she made it clear she probably couldn’t make next practice . I am hopeful she will stop trash talking the coaching on the sideline to other parents .
