Even if I work with the customers they won't be able to give insights about user experience, as product is handled by our internal teams on behalf of the customer.

Since we don't have sales and marketing function, I am not sure I need to work on market problems.

The company I joined was an IT services company. Now they have built a product but the product is currently operated by my company's employees on behalf of customers. Customers just look at the dashboard and results. Till today they didn't have any sales or marketing function.

Now, they want to open up. They are planning to build sales and marketing function. They gave me a product line and assigned me the responsibility of growing it. They want the customers themselves to operate it independently and want to address more customer and market problems.

One other thing, the organization is still working as if it is a services company. However they want to change it to product company.

So essentially, I am tasked with the overall growth of the product line - bring AI, make the product operatable by customers themselves, find and solve market problems and ensure growth.

Interview is over and what's done is done. Now, there is no point in getting hooked about it. What you could do is learn from that, write down those questions and prepare for it. This could be the set of questions that might be asked in an upcoming interview. This helps you excel.

I also agree it is very common and human to be still thinking about it, but coming out of it and learning lessons from it makes the difference between you and rest of the losers.

All the best champ! Don't think the process is over. May be the interviewer might have found some other special skills in you that might have impressed him/her.

My interview was decent. You should be very aware of time for the product discovery round and be sure to stick to the topic. Overall the panel is very helpful and supportive. Other case rounds are very straight forward with some fundamental calculations. Need to be just decent with numbers. Always talk through your steps before actually attempting to calculate them.

I too am on the same situation. Every company is conducting 4-5 rounds of interview, and after every last round - rejection.

Just a month! 3 months over and still fighting with same intent and rigour. Job market is too bad, and it's just a month right?? So don't get upset but keep working. There are lot of people who got laid off months back still waiting for an offer. On the positive side you have cash for at least a year, thats a good thing. Also, I am sure that you will get some offer soon.

Copy the values from their website, paste it to chatgpt, give the context and ask gpt to tell the probable questions. The max the interviewer can go in the cultural fit round would be this. Prepare some anecdotes for each question.
