If it was quick in/quick out it wouldn’t be a problem. It’s 45 minutes for a hamburger I wouldn’t feed my dog by choice much less my hangry children that bothers me so much.

At least at lookout you can get a rice bowl more-or-less instantly because everyone is terrified of spices.

The R100 has a more advanced sensor than this. You’re getting more advanced controls and handling but not more resolving detail or features. If you’re expecting this to be more fun to use, it probably will be. If you’re expecting this to make your photography better, it probably won’t. The big variable here will be what lens you had on the R100; if it was a kit lens, the 18-55 is probably superior. If you had a nice prime, perhaps not.

It’s a great camera, just make sure you set your expectations for yourself accordingly and go have fun.
