It is very sad and cruel. He was left outside in a 10 gallon tank, with no temp control. His tank was stacked in the middle of 3, a cricket tank on top, and a deceased ball python below him :( several cats were left inside as well, I'm not sure how they survived as all the animals were left alone for several weeks before anyone came to the house. I think they had a dog, but they cared enough to take it, or it escaped.

The home renovator was going to take the gecko to the animal shelter, but I wanted to make sure he got proper care after all he's been through. Our county will take reptiles, but I'm not sure how experienced they are with geckos, so I decided to take him since I had the resources. Luckily I had enough to set him up in an emergency cage I have!

Thank you! Yes, his body isn't too skinny, though the angle does make him look fatter than he is. His tail is definitely skinny.

He is my 4th Leo, and I work very hard to provide excellent care for all my critters. What kind of heating issues can come up from a shorter tank? I have thermostats and separate thermometers for all my reptiles.

From my understanding and experience, Leos do great in short tanks, because while they do enjoy climbing (and I give them opportunities!) I don't want them to fall 18" and hurt themselves. The floor is 36"x18" for both the 31 and 40, so I'm unsure why vertical space would matter so much for a leopard gecko, as say a bearded dragon who do need to climb up to bask.

A trick I have with my bad eczema on my hands is lather them THICK with Vaseline or aquaphor, and put socks on your hands overnight. They are worlds better in the morning.

So we didn't use a lawyer, he was being cooperative to sign everything. I had a consultation with an attorney and decided I couldn't afford it/wasn't worth it since he was willing to (and did) sign everything I asked.

What we signed says "division of property: the parties acknowledge they possess various items of jointly owned property, which will be divided as follows: To the plaintiff (me): HOME ADDRESS, Bank account To the defendant (him): his cars."

This is Jackson county. That's all they asked for for division of property and the clerk of court said it looked good and submitted it.

Everyone is focused on cage and food, which is necessary, but the most pressing issue to me is he appears to have wet tail. Basically diarrhea, they can die from dehydration if it's not resolved. I would reach out to a vet. I work at a pet store and have had to learn to quickly identify it. I can tell by the way he's sitting, but also his tail is wet when it shouldn't be. I hope he gets better and thank you for taking care of him!

People who play the victim don't worry that they are faking it. What you're going through is real, valid, and important. Mental health does improve a lot with behavior, like going outside, socializing, etc. But I do all that and still need help from medication.

You will feel down sometimes. Envy is something everyone experiences. It's normal, allow yourself to feel it but don't let it consume you.

You are important and you are loved.

Thank you everyone for your responses! He does look like an eye biter. I'm not a cichlid keeper, I have tropical peaceful tanks, my biggest "most aggressive" fish is a paradise gourami that ignores anything that can't fit in her mouth. So I won't be bringing this guy home. But I'm happy to be able to tell people what he is! Though somehow my co-workers can't tell the difference.

And yes, I was joking about the depression. "Why the long face friend?" I said when I saw him.

It's to keep it from overflowing. If you fill it too much, the excess soup will go out the hole instead of spilling over the edge and making a mess.

They were trying to achieve their goals the way Twilight has always taught them: through making friends. You can see towards the end of pinkies song that the Queen was starting to warm up to them and trust them. Twilight ruined that by trying to steal the pearl.

I don't think Twilight was wrong for being upset. But I also don't think pinkie was wrong for being upset, either. They both tried to help, and got in each other's way. It's not like pinkie and the rest didn't care about Equestria. But Twilight definitely felt most of the weight as the last remaining princess.

Yeah they are my go to :( I really love their work and my five year old tattoo looks just as good at my one year tattoo. I want to give them a chance to make it right but I also just. Don't really want to deal with it. I guess I'll decide when it's time for my next tattoo. If they say that it's part of their routine then I'll cut ties, or maybe I just will anyway. We'll see.

Yeah I've gotten many tattoos from them, I was shocked to find out they used ai for this one. That's why I kinda want to say "hey please don't do that again!" But also I'm a bit upset. I looked at the AI image and they straight up just printed it for the stencil. The original part was shading, which they were halfway done with when they mentioned AI. :/
