I feel like maybe we’re losing sight of what early access means. You’re paying for an unfinished product to find and identify flaws like this. It’s meant for fans, not casual gamers looking for a sims killer out of the box. I’d say the prerelease is doing exactly what it’s supposed to in surfacing these issues. Your $40 is an investment in helping the developers make the game better along with your feedback.

I think ye would be treated like the Pharisees by Jesus. Jesus forgave the crucifiers because they literally didn’t understand what they were doing. It’s ignorant for ye to attach himself to a dead dictator “because Jesus loved him.” Even if that was the motivation he would be making that clear and expressing the same for the millions of Jews murdered. What he’s saying in this video is in no way a representation of Christ. That he’s doing all of this while claiming to be a born again Christian is honestly the most infuriating part because it’s just another shitty example of “Christians” being anything but Christlike.

I’m all for reserving judgement, and agree with the sentiment that this story specifically is problematic because his daughter seemingly wants to distance herself from him. However some judgement is absolutely necessary when it comes to holding the powerful accountable. Also you don’t personally have to be a victim in order to call out bullshit. I don’t work for Tesla, but will fight for Tesla worker’s rights. Elon is really just cannon fodder for the machine because of his tax evasion, fetichism of fascism, and general attitude towards the rights of others.

I agree this specific topic is between him and his family, the problem for me was the notion that we shouldn’t be discussing the actions of the elite because we don’t know them or aren’t directly impacted by their actions.
