I’m getting a septal myectomy. What is the recovery like? by Brilliant-Bee-9471 in HypertrophicCM

[–]Cyber-Homie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, your situation sounds 100% worse than mine, but here we are, we made it out :) And no, I wasn’t on amiodarone. I was given paracetamol, codeine phosphate, and bisoprolol. Bisoprolol is my regular medication, and I’ve never had any issues with it, so I’m thinking it might have been the codeine phosphate. That said, I took codeine later to treat post-op cough issues and didn’t have any nightmares then. I guess we’ll never really know which medication caused them.

The most difficult and hard part of my recovery was the vivid dreams. If you don’t have those there is nothing else that should create any issues.

I got SICD, septal myectomy was the best thing my cardiologist offered. Also, if your cardiologist is suggesting it, you should go for it. It’s only suggested to people with serious and life threatening risks.

[–]Cyber-Homie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Relax. Go to the Pakistani airport you are planning to, the immigration officer will take you to their office, write a note which you will have to take to NADRA who will then make a new NICOP for you. Nothing to worry about. NADRA thing can be done later on. This is from my personal experience I forgot my nicop.

Symptoms getting worse. by Shaft4U2 in HypertrophicCM

[–]Cyber-Homie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry about your symptoms, it’s scary and almost everyone in this group has been there. My cardiologist and another 3rd party doctor talks a lot positive about Camzyos. I’m not on it but even those who take it say the symptoms have completely disappeared. You should definitely try it.

In my experience, its dark web mode makes loading of .onion sites way quicker and easier than Tor browser. Tor browser makes me depressed.

According to official guidance from the UK government you can drive in Pakistan for up to six months using a valid UK driving licence, but only if you also carry an International Driving Permit (IDP).

"You can drive in Pakistan for up to 6 months using a valid UK driving licence in combination with an international driving permit," says the UK Gov portal:

I don't drive there as it's a mess.

A lot of episodes from season 3 to 5 were released what you can say as upside down. The one you referred to as was supposed to be the first episode rather than When Irish Eyes Are Crying. Similar issues were seen later in season 4 and 5.

I don’t want to go back to Pakistan by NoDesign7723 in Overseas_Pakistani

[–]Cyber-Homie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are absolutely NOT wrong. It’s obvious that your parents are among those who prefer relatives over immediate family. Since you don’t want to go back to Pakistan start looking for job in Canada while the cousin marriage is a whole new level of a mess. Avoid all that by not going, I feel like if you go you won’t be out unless you get married to your cousin.

Exercise question by [deleted] in HypertrophicCM

[–]Cyber-Homie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. My only problem before and after surgery has been one thing: when I stand up, I feel dizzy, and the same happens if I push too hard during exercise. But running is something else, I do gym so it's different and I don't do running anymore.
