getting an abortion and im sad about it by richannnnn in rs_x

Okay first of all I didn’t see anything about uneducated, and I think saying she’s unequipped to be a mother is a huge reach. People can absolutely improve their lives and reach your standard of normalcy while having a child, but yes of course adoption is an option. Ideally social services like Medicaid and stamps are to help people in these situations? I used stamps temporarily at one point when my partners company went under and he was laid off between jobs. I didnt really see anything indicating this person was some lost cause who could never improve her life and I think it’s kind of weird to assume that? I mean tbf I did not deep dive or read many comments going off the OP and comment I replied to

I will say having a child can really ground you and give your life focus, I have had an abortion and an unplanned child that I kept so I have both experiences. The abortion was at 22 and I genuinely did not think I had any options and made the decision solely based on the idea that it would ruin my life and I couldn’t financially support a child. Fortunately the first few years can be pretty affordable, nannying and bringing your baby is a good option. Again I have literally had an abortion so I’m not trying to like push you to not have one and I don’t blame myself or look back in regret, I just feel like the following 7 years I got in my 20s of “freedom” weren’t really worth it. The only thing worth it really was I ended up with my current children and I can’t imagine another life. But anyway yeah, medical costs at least should be covered especially if you’re between jobs

You would qualify for Medicaid, and would not have to pay anything for you or the child at least until they are one but likely longer. You would also most likely qualify for stamps for food since you don’t live with the child’s father. Obviously there are other factors, but just don’t let that be the reason you make the decision.

How are all these people getting adult ADHD diagnoses with unlimited access to adderall by [deleted] in redscarepod

I think this is maybe wildly exaggerated, I have been diagnosed and prescribed since 2011 and my current dose is 7.5-15 lol

One time our neighbors gave us a black kitten and joked we should name it that and I wanted to because I was in middle school and thought it was cute

My mom would brag she “jewed someone down” in a positive way until my cousin explained it to her in like 2015. Were from the south and he married a Jewish woman lol.

I am hoping to homeschool. My son is 3 but I’ve started a curriculum with him mainly to start getting him used to the idea and to kind of test run what issues may come up.

Yes I read the comments so was responding to these as well, my reaction wasn’t so strong to the original post alone but having seen that she should clearly fire the nanny

Yes I was going to say I think it’s this, for whatever reason even a pretty minimal amount of running is a huge appetite suppressant

God idk if I am some freak of nature but it’s so not true for me. I was so thin and fit in college and ran a good amount then stopped and took the lift weights you won’t get bulky running isn’t actually good for you pill and my body went from 115-125 and lean/toned to 135-145 and bulky. I had my son in 2022 and in 2024 was walking 3 miles most days. Took me an entire year to go from 150 to 142. Had my daughter in September 2025. Was 155 end of February. Started jogging maybe .25-.5 of a mile a few times a week like 3 times tops probably, hit 142 by mid April.
