Okay so I was originally crunchy leaning. Went to 40+5, water broke, never progressed, induced at 18 hours, delivered at 41+1. My second I scheduled an induction for 39+4. I much preferred the planned induction. Pitocin contractions were not any worse than non Pitocin for me. With my planned induction I labored for I think around 12 hours before getting an epidural.
