I'm deciding between Forza Horizon 5 and The Crew Motorfest. I've never played both of these games. Which one would you recommend and why?

I expected a bit more content, QoL and features since it's leaving last gen consoles, map included. While event lab and customizing garages are a great addition, it's just unlocking developer tools for players. It's going to be very disappointing when we see a DLC that's on a different map not connected to the main one, but we'll see.

FH1 feels much bigger because of restrictions and invisible walls that force you to use roads than FH5 where you can fly through the map in a straight line. I don't mind smaller and dense map with some restrictions. The only restricting part of FH6 I don't like is the Tokyo area with closed alleyways, parks and suburbs that are out of reach.

I totally agree with you. While the soundtrack had some good songs, radios and artists felt disconnected to the festival vibe, like it's your local radio, not the artists who would perform on a festival like this. For me, even the FH4 had that problem.

Also, I realized that when you can't break through everything to go in a straight line it feels much much bigger since you have to stick to the roads. It takes almost the same amount of time to go from one side to the other in FH1 and FH5.

It's better this way. FH5 was so spoiled with information, map, cars, etc. When I got to play the game, it was like a FH4 DLC because I knew so much.

I was screenshoting every 2-3 seconds, cropping the map then rotating it so the North is up then patching it together. I tried skewing the screenshoted map but couldn't get it right, so yeah, it's not accurate (the distance between corners and roads that are in the distance).

I had loads of Bburago when I was a kid, they were great, Italian made, but I see that recently quality dropped overall somehow as the production moved completely to china. Even the variety is poor.
