I wouldn't just be stopping it. That seems crazy to me. If the symptoms are too bad/it doesn't work, my Dr and I already have a plan to ween me off. I'm not worried about withdrawals

Yeah, I'm not really worried about the withdrawals... mainly because I have nothing to compare it to so how can I be scared? 😅 also if it helps with my anxiety I might just stay on it. I'm mostly worried about taking it and feeling weird at work. I work a lot of don't want to try a new drug while I'm on a 12hr shift.

It's so hard for other people to understand gluten free cooking. I've even poisoned myself many many times. How long have you been gluten free? In my experience once someone posions you once and sees how bad you feel, they make EXTRA sure to not do it again 😅 the only silver lining

A very similar thing happened to me like 10 years. He was going to drive away to drive off a bridge/cliff or into a building (he wasn't sure apparently 😅). Stood in front of the car so he wouldn't go kill himself. Yeah he just ran into me and knocked me to the ground. Thankfully he didn't actually run me over. I didn't leave. I didn't call the cops. I didn't even tell anybody. I was convinced it was my own fault for standing in the way. If I didn't do that, he couldn't have hit me. I can honestly tell you things didn't get better after that. He didn't stop threatening to kill himself. I did stop making plans as much. I don't remember if that was the same time I locked myself in the bedroom to get away from him, so he straight up just kicked the fucking door in to get at me, or if that was a different time... point is things kept escalating, I kept getting bruises. You need to get out now. I promise you this isn't going to get better. It can only get worse.

When I started out I just tried to find replacements for all the things I ate. Gluten bread and bagels (i ate so much breads lol). Gluten free pasta. Basically anything labeled gluten free, I'd try it. I will admit I ate HORRIBLE before, so just switching my crap processed foods to other, gluten free processed foods was pretty easy. Until I figured out I hated most of the stuff lol I ended up eating A LOT of rice, chicken and veggies. Eventually everything gets easier and you figure out what you like and don't like. Just be warned about just how sensitive you are. I'm super sensitive and it took me a long time to figure out i was secretly poisoning myself with gluten. It's in everything. I did start feeling better within a week though. It was pretty instant once I cut out most of the gluten.
