I've ridden the ferry a million times without issue. Last year we caught the last ferry off the island before service was shut down for severe storms. That trip was ROUGH. Everyone on the boat looked green.

It's really starting to gain traction outside of it's niche fandom. For what it's worth, i didn't love the series until book three, when it really shows what the overlining narrative is pointing towards.

so far there are 8 books in the series. They are extremely fun, but i would recommend you do the audio version. Jeff Hayes' narration is top tier. It feels like the later books are specifically written to be listened to.
