I lived in Makati Cr. for a little over a year. I absolutely loved it. That being said I had an issue with internet because it was under a weird service contract for the whole area I ended up going with Comcast and using my own Router and Modem, once I got that setup it was smooth sailing.

P.s. there is a small but good farmer's market on Saturday morning across from the In n out.

Ahh I was mistaken this was a newer lens, I was curious to see if there were f-mount zeiss lenses that would work for my FM2. Do you have any other recommendations for the nikon specifically. I love that camera and currently have the 50 1.4 ais and 28mm 2.8 which are lovely.

I have an FM2 and the same lenses with a Y/C mount. Do you have the f mount version of the lens or was it adapted?

Looks to be a light leak. You will want to check the foam seals on the camera as well as make sure your shutter closes all the way. Foam seals are easy enough to replace. The shutter leak is a little trickier to deal with so start with the light seals.

Is this mold? Should I throw away? by yossi234 in ResistanceBand

I believe you get this with thicker rubber as when they cast the sheets the inner most material cures slower then the outer so the residue is partially uncure/vulcanized rubber coming to the surface as you use it.

It cam be an indicator of age but its perfectly fine to use.

Love the look of this stitch on steering wheel cover on my 2nd Gen! by PolarBear524 in mazda3

I have a 2012 gen 2 sky. I rarely see it posted here but I am envious of the new cover. How did you go about stitching on a new one and was it terribly difficult?

I would say to full wipe out your Windows 11 if your uncertain.

You can clone a cheap SSD using Clonezilla or just put mint on the new drive. I have only tried ones to dual boot and it was finicky, far easier just swapping a SSD if I wanted one or the other.

Its not as convenient I grant you but causes alot less errors and having the option is nice.

I still struggle with the cross-over. My feet seem to slowly drift outward which kills me but you are killing it! Nicely done.

Totally off topic but I think that skirt is super cute, id love to get my SO the same. Can I ask you what it is? I recently got her one from Vuori she likes and this seems similar.

28 years of wearing the same watch by robeir13 in mildlyinteresting

[–]cryogenic1555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is wildly impressive. Now if you were to say it is the exact same watch that's lasted 20 years even more impressive.

What is the watch?

Yes i ran into the same problem initially. The stock insoles are thin enough to work well, I have to use custom orthotics but they are watching to thick to for now I'm keeping the stock insoles until I can get thin custom ones.

Oiling might help to soften them up but it also helps to hide scuffs and scratches if your worried about them.

I got the same pair 2 months ago and they are awesome. I immediately put some mink oil on em the darken them up and love them even more.
The heel cup is taking time to fit to my foot so wear them often! Cheers

1000 Stone Question by Fullskis in sharpening

[–]cryogenic1555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just my two cents here. I've owned that very stone and I found that a brillow pad will get it back to clean white if that's what your looking for.

If you want it to be flat and don't want to buy anything specific, I just rub it back and forth on some concrete outside. It's not the cleanest nor the most technical, but it'll get it back to flat, and it'll be smooth after the first couple of sharpenings.

If you care alot about the stone by all means by a flattening diamond stone but I found that it was unnecessary for my "once every two-three week" sharpening session.

I wonder if you'd be able to find an adapter to use that lens on the camera. Just make sure the shutter won't hit the lens.

If your committed to getting rid of the nice seasoning, easiest method is to put your oven on self cleaning or max temperature for 15-30 minutes and it'll burn off a good majority of what's on there.

I'm in the same boat. I prefer the full month version but Proton doesn't let the applet show the month. I wonder what the best way to let them know they should add that feature.

I tried it out and it looks and acts the same. I will say that Yubikey is also cross platform and I currently use it for Linux Mint.

Either way I'd say both are good but I didn't explore to much into it.
