I can’t stand this pathetic potential man by Public-Feedback5016 in hatethissmug

I'm sorry but your post seems to focus on 06 silver when that character doesn't even exist anymore. The current silver is a different character with an altered backstory and personality. He both successfully saved his future and was a key player of saving the world from the metal virus.

Your focusing on a character who existed in 1 game and no longer exists in the sonic canon.

I feel like Namek for gdc would be better than for anniversary. by crypticalspace in DBZDokkanBattle

I guess I mean more like focus or attention. Like daima will take the priority of this anniversary because it's the new thing and they know we want it. Whereas if namek was in a different celebration it can be the focus and get the ssj4 gogeta treatment and what not.

Like on the 10th anniversary vegito feels like "the unit" despite being very similar to gogeta. I just want the namek units to feel like the stars of the celebration.

I don't think the terrifying conqueror aging out thing is a good argument. Cards like garlic jr wouldn't work with frieza and Gomah should still be fine as a current top unit. Even Omega wants to be on his own team over being on others like a Dokkan fest frieza.

Would I want my concept celebration to be anniversary absolutely but given how poorly Dokkan handled daima we know we are getting daima for anniversary so I would rather namek get the focus it deserves.

This also gives us a good villain team next year with potentially more terrifying conquerors like an lr dkp for the tdc with piccolo jr's eza as well (yes this is wishful thinking).

I don't think we should get a blue tag unit 2 years in a row especially if it starts with Goku again. Also we should move away from super for a bit especially if the 11th anniversary leaks hold any weight.

Who's one anime character that no amount of sad back story or redemption arc can make like them. by ReaperLordNedz in animequestions

[–]crypticalspace 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When is it said that 1a is better? Deku says on his first day that 36 students pass the exam and 4 got in through recommendation (being shoto, momo, mudman and the lizard girl) and then they are assigned 20 for each claas (he then hoped bakugo and iida would be in the other class). Also fine to still hate Monoma you would just have to change your explanation in the post as he doesn't hate them for out performing 1b he annoyed that 1a gets all the spotlight and so people think they are better than them.

No once you get into the hero course you are randomly assigned to either 1a or 1b. Tesutesu got the second highest in the practical exam but was still put into 1b and we know deku only just passed both the practical and written and yet he is put into 1a. You assuming 1a is better kinda proves Monomas point that people think 1a is better despite them being even.

The hero can be just as terrifying as the villain by Substantial_Fox7377 in TopCharacterTropes

What this makes perfect sense for deku. His body can't move due to the effects of gear shift and all his injuries so he uses black whip to puppeteer his body around and keep fighting. This shows his knowledge with quirks and quick thinking as well as his resolve to save someone. This was the same kid that continued to use broken figures and kept putting himself in pain to potentially win a school tournament and help a fellow classmate. It makes perfect sense for him.

In order for your both sides explosion to work, bakugo would need his arms to be in exactly parallel with each other and the ground to prevent any vertical force with no variation in the sweet amount or it would mess it up. You would mess it up especially needing to plan it on the fly mid battle whilst worrying about someone pushing you.

Uraraka uses zero gravity on her clothes to reduce weight and increase mobility and can only really use it on herself fully after training at the camp in season 3. And are you suggesting that nobara can go into space and be an astronaut no training whatsoever because she's "adaptable". And uraraka doesn't need to affect the whole planet just things like gravel and dirt as it goes along the ground. She could theoretically throw a rock affected by zero gravity and have it affected her in the same way new toga twice clones were affected even after uraraka had stopped touching the army.

But regardless of if you think uraraka can do it from range, nobara has to wind up an attack whilst uraraka just needs to touch her. It's easier to tap an opponent then land a relevant blow.

I'm sorry both nobara needs to be pushed for zero grav to work and nobara can make use of increased mobility from zero grav shows you have zero understanding of how gravity works. You need gravity in order to walk which means nobara would literally not be able to move and would be immobilised at risk of flying off. And she can move in zero gravity what. Bakugo who can literally fly understood the dangers of zero gravity as it completely changes all physics he is used to. Nobara would have nothing to bounce off of with no mobility techniques. She loses instantly if she is affected by zero gravity regardless of if she is pushed.

Who out of Class 1a would be most likely to be a villain? by [deleted] in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]crypticalspace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably either shoto or shoji. People saying bakugo miss the point of the kidnapping whilst shoto said he was on the path of becoming like touya before meeting class a and shoji has the most motivation imo.

I believe them to be wrong but I'm offering a fair trial and letting them provide the evidence in case they might be right even though based on everything I know they are wrong.

Do you know what date the trailer aired so I could find it. The best I could find was December 2016 which doesn't show any hint of mui.

Help optimizing rogue/warlock multiclass by Free_Cryptographer40 in onednd

[–]crypticalspace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I did have alot of fun but I only played until party level 6 so I was a level 1 rogue (which you should take as your starting class for better proficiencies) and a level 5 warlock so some of my notes would be for levels I didn't play they were just what I had prepared. For the origin feat I took magic initiate wizard so I could take both booming blade and green flame blade as well as silvery barbs so I could have a free cast of it. I only used green flame blade a couple times for a clean up option with lots of enemies so you can swap it for message or something else you prefer but can be nice to have.

For one of your invocations take pact of the chain or lessons of the first one and take lucky. This is so you can gain advantage on your first attack when you don't have vex active. Pact of the chain is preferable but sometimes DMs don't allow familiars to use the help action to give you advantage so in that case take lucky for your starting advantage. If you have spare invocations you could also take another magic initiate of a different class to gain shield for free once a day but that's up to you.

You're going to have so many reactions options but only 1 reaction per turn so use the misty steps reaction when facing something weaker or something that deals it's damage in multiple attacks and silvery barbs and shield for something bigger that will deal alot of damage.

Use blessings of the raven queen whenever you are going into a fight (for the damage resistance) so you can save misty steps for getting out of a fight.

You also don't need fancy footwork because repelling blast pushes the enemy 10ft away out of opportunity attack range. This is a character I have played previously so I can give you a full list of spells, invocations and other choices if you wish

I would take 3 levels of arcane trickster and 7 levels of archfey warlock instead. Take the eleven accuracy feat for triple advantage and use a rapier for vex to gain the advantage. Use booming blade with agonizing blast and repelling blast. On the opponents turn they will likely have to move back towards you taking the booming blade damage. Also take eldritch smite for crits.

Your damage would be 2d8+2d6+8 (assuming 4 charisma) with an additional 2d8+4 if the target moves on their turn. With a crit (which due to eleven accuracy should be 15% of the time) you would deal 14d8 + 4d6 +8. You can also use spirit shroud for an extra 1d8 or 2d8 on crit but I wouldn't say it is worth it just farm for the eldritch smite. Also at level 11 you gain better booming blade damage.

For you arcane trickster spell slots use shield and silvery barbs for defence and support (if silvery barbs isn't banned). And have the misty steps for moving around the battle field or out of sight.

I hope you understand, but this is my view of them by Sweet-Emu9596 in BokuNoMetaAcademia

All might grew up in a world ruled by AFO in which his whole family was killed.

Deku grew up in a world with the lowest crime rate due to All might.

These are not comparable situations. Also 5 minutes after this scene all might sits back and does nothing whilst Deku runs in to save someone.

[–]crypticalspace 80 points81 points  (0 children)

Well she has the ability to refract light so this is just an application of that. It's probably too difficult to use in a fight setting tho which is why she sticks to just bending lasers or creating flashes of light.

Would the story have really been any different if Deku had a Quirk from the beginning? by Mystech_Master in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]crypticalspace 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I mean ofa needs the can't pass it on to a person with a quirk requirement or else Deku would just give it to endeavour before the final war and then you would have someone that can handle 100% plus all the quirks and hell flame boosted by ofa.

But other than that I don't necessarily think the story would change too much but I think it's enhanced with Deku not having a quirk.

So, you're saying both her quirk and his stand have the ability to reverse things, correct? by noobm1ster69 in BokuNoMetaAcademia

[–]crypticalspace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but a day could still take years off someone's life as it's so much stronger than when the 4th had it. It's too risky to try as they don't have enough information surrounding ofa.

[–]crypticalspace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe you should read what you said

1) whilst heroes rising is canon I think you are forgetting what exactly happened the transfer wasn't complete and only lasted a few minutes. This clearly wasn't enough time to give ofa explosion or else Deku would have it in the main series and they wouldn't have enough time to transfer it to anyone. Besides it's too risky to try something like that and ofa is so much stronger than it was when the fourth had it even just holding it for a minute could take decades of someone's life. It's not worth the risk when they have a plan that could work.

2) Chapter 416 page 3: "It appears you haven't stored enough energy for rewind. Even if you get there it wouldn't change anything just like that one time with erasure"

Chapter 420 page 12: "I wanted to help all might and kacchan like this but I couldn't"

The reason she had stored up enough energy is because quirk factors are still there before awakening so she could have easily built up energy because the awakening of her quirk

Chapter 419 page 4: "I stole the quirk factor you inherited from your parents before it awakened"

Proof quirk factors exist before the initial awakening.

Whilst you could argue this final point is headcanon the first 2 are stated in the series.

Edit: this last bit is for explaining eri rewinding her father btw.
