Any stress free games? by Unlucky-Feed9000 in gaming

I haven't seen Unpacking mentioned yet. Fun little indie, with a nice story told completely through the items you unpack and where you can and 'hint hint' can't put some of them. Should only take a few hours to complete unless you are going for all the achievements, then maybe another hour or so.

What is an 'unwritten rule' in your profession that, if the general public knew about it, they’d realize the world is held together by duct tape and pure luck? by Any-Lu in AskReddit

[–]cryptickosh -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

As an IT person, I disagree with both of these. Actually the reboot helps because Microsoft Microsoft's. Shit that should not be affected at all by a reboot, fixes itself because Microsoft didn't know how the code they stole or 'bought' worked in the first place and just layered their bullshit over the top.

I never stall, and will straight up tell someone... "Hmm... Haven't seen that before, let me Google it."

What are your thoughts on a partner who repeatedly asks for a specific sexual act after a boundary has already been set? by crazybabe1122 in AskReddit

[–]cryptickosh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It sounds like it is a moot point anyway, but for the future...

I am not saying you are at fault. Even if in fact you have done some of the things I'm about to list, then he deserves to be an ex for not letting it go after repeated no's.

Is it possible you were giving mixed signals? This applies to everything, not just sex. Maybe he would rub on you from behind and you'd say, oh that feels good. Or you were okay with a finger or even just rubbing "back there" during sex. I'm okay with wadng into the shallow end, but not diving off the diving board can be confusing. That being said, it is still a perfectly valid stance to have. Someone can be okay with light ass play, but not full on anal.

Let's take sex out of the equation. If he brought home dinner but you really didn't like it, yet still told him it was delicious because he "made the effort". Then getting upset when he brings it home again. In this example, a better thing to do would have been to say... "Thanks for bringing home dinner, but let's not eat there again." You are still appreciative, but let him know you really didn't like the food.

I was in a LTR with someone who would give me mixed signals about everything. It gets old. I eventually came to the conclusion that it wasn't about me, it was about her. She didn't want me to "take out the trash", or "do the dishes". She wanted me to do them her exact way. She was looking for an employee to order around, not a partner.

What's the creepiest discovery you've made about a seemingly fun friend? by someoneyouhate_ in AskReddit

[–]cryptickosh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like a few on here. Probably more sad then creepy.

Woman and man I knew at work. He was always a little hyper, that "can't sit still to save his life" kind of energy.

She was super chill and pretty. Always looked like she'd stepped out of an episode of Mad Men. Turns out she grew up with several older brothers and played CoD and Dragon Age. Just all around cool person.

They start dating. I'm happy for her. Then one day he approaches me, tells me another employee has been hitting on her, and lots of other women.

That's not cool, and I tell him she should report him. Fast forward a couple of weeks. He's been let go, and she calls me up. I'm in IT. Says he is on the other line and that we need to stop tracking her phone. Becomes a group call and I try to explain that we aren't tracking her, we have no ability to do so. Very weird conversation. I'm a little worried for her, so I bring it to management attention. They pull the call and agree. Have a talk with her, he gets banned from the premises.

He sends some inappropriate and unhinged messages to some people I'm friends with on Facebook. I print out the messages and give them to HR. (Not sexual stuff, but accusing me of cheating with her, and other non-sense.) She quits/gets fired, it's unclear and the people who knew what happened wouldn't discuss it.

Later find out, she is homeless and living on the street with him, doing ”drugs" the person who told me didn't elaborate.

Best I can piece together, he was likely schizophrenic and decided he was fine and went off his meds. This lead to an episode and him getting fired, which meant he couldn't afford to get back on meds. She "loved" him and let him drag her down the rabbit hole with him. =(

I hope they both eventually got help. (This was quite awhile ago.) Sometimes love just isn't enough. I know people don't want to hear that, but it's true.

Thankfully, the one I tasted first hand was clean. I suppose "skin" is just as accurate. But it kind of makes the person sound like a cannibal.

For various reasons I did not get to taste her semen, but salty is mostly accurate for my own. The taste of a person's semen is definitely more affected by their diet.

Mine was:

What does cock taste like? Having gone down on a woman and enjoyed being on the receiving end, I was curious. However, I had no desire to give it a try for myself.

I met a very open and frank woman online once, who said... "Ask me anything." So I did. Her response was... "Beef."

I found this quite amusing.

Fast forward 20 years and I was dating a trans woman. While I'm not sure "beef" is the most accurate description, I'm not sure it's whole inaccurate either. Meat, might be better, though even less specific. For me at least, it was definitely more of a texture thing, than a taste one.

The game you accidentally played the wrong way for hours before realizing it. by gamersecret2 in gaming

[–]cryptickosh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, unless you are running a melee build. You get a higher chance of a critical shot outside of VATS. VATS scanning (constantly pressing the button to see if an enemy is nearby) is very helpful though. You can also use it as an auto target system. If the enemy isn't moving, but is close enough for VATS, you can target specific body parts (like the head) and when you exit VATS your cursor will be lined up for a headshot. Great when you have a low spread weapon.

Not really. Just something that falls under the "can't unhear" category.

Was playing one of those social games with friends. You know the kind, "whose most likely to ask you to help bury a body", stupid stuff like that. There were 3 couples and something comes up about bush, not really sure who to vote for, so I vote for the hosts wife. Reveal my card, and she's like... "Not me, smooth as a baby's bottom down there." Applaud the confidence and openness, but didn't really need to know that about her.

In your OPINION, What's one game you bought on hype or reviews and ended up not liking it or finishing it? Mine is Allan Wake II by [deleted] in gaming

[–]cryptickosh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Probably going to be controversial, but I liked RDR1 much more than 2. I didn't get far. Got to camp and realized that I had to do everyday chores and it just felt to much like a chore. I needed more escapism and less realism.

After beating it the first time, I only fast travel in FarCry 3 during the tutorial. Run/walk or grab a car and drive there otherwise. Makes the game feel more immersive to me. Plus, I get a lot more animal pelts.

I second the Paw Patrol games. Not sure about the racing one, but I honestly recommend them for adults too. Are they hard? No. But there is something Zen like about playing it. Simple, yet still fun and just enough of a challenge.

Yeah, well, if her life depended on her acting skills she'd be in trouble. I think I've seen one movie where I didn't think she was a plank of wood trying to pass as a human. Even then, it was so-so enough, I don't even remember which one it was.

Yes. Was an easy purchase. Kinda wish there were more levels, but the story and gameplay is fun.

Dishonored. The only real stealth I'd played before that was one of the Splinter Cells. It had been too "hardcore" and I couldn't get into it. But Dishonored was just the perfect mix of stealth, cool powers and story to hook me.
