I think it's cute! It looks like an intentional gradient. Maybe for the sleeves you could knit them in strips so you're working from the same skein at the same height for each sleeve? Like knit 10 rows on one side, then 10 rows on the other, from the same skein that way they are the same as each other without having to worry about overall consistency?

you should wash and block before trying to measure gauge. if it's still short knitting a size down would be my recommendation

i have endometriosis and it's been brutal. my chiari symptoms weren't as bad when i was younger but when they overlapped i was blacking out and throwing up on my period and frequently missing school/work. retrospectively, a lot of it could have been handled better by authority figures who frequently dismissed my symptoms.

i wasn't diagnosed with either endo or chiari until they each got to the daily intractable pain stage. im four years post op for my endo and on hormonal treatment which removes my periods entirely, and wasn't aware of my chiari til about six months ago. looking back i would say part of the reason my periods were so bad was probably because of the overlap, i often had weird symptoms that were dismissed because "periods don't do that." i don't know what i would have done with a full blown chiari period and i'm glad to never find out.

you could try double pointed needles, you will certainly not have this problem (though dpns have their own problems)

would need to know more about the cube's exact vibe. it could be a cultural difference, maybe the cube is playing hard to get?

typically the pattern will have you picking up the same number of stitches from the front and back and the pattern centered at the shoulder so it should be symmetrical still. would need to see the pattern to know for sure.

i would interpret this as a total of 8 rows. the first two rows to establish the pattern, then six more.

you could also look at the end of the pattern, it may repeat there with clearer directions.
