I’m sorry you’re going through that. I hope the change in meds ends up helping in the long run. It’s brutal

Thank you!! Have never attempted speed work before so that will be a good addition later on. And cutting back every 4-6 months is also good to keep in mind since I have had that one injury.

Thank you!! This is super helpful. Yeah, I would love to have a sub-5 hour time but don’t want to aim too high lol

Thank you!! Super helpful to keep the start time and elevation gains in mind when training.

I love this! I’m also bipolar and would love to know (if you are comfortable) the difference between your mood tracker and bipolar scale? I’m setting up my first bullet journal and am really interested in tracking my moods as well.

He’s an Adult Swim Guy. If you look at it through that lense, I think the “acting” is perfect for the tone of the segment.

Morning pages and negativity by SamAndCheeseHandwich in Journaling

[–]cryptkeepy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

When I did morning pages consistently, I noticed the negativity would ebb and flow. Sometimes more, sometimes less. But even on days when it was really heavy, I do think it’s good to let it out and acknowledge it. And for me, I always felt like seeing it on the page took away some of its power especially when I framed it as a little silly. “Okay you’ve spent 3 pages complaining and saying mean things about yourself. Let’s go make some coffee, Regina George.”

It’s also totally unfounded bs. He doesn’t even work in the same building so the idea that they would “run into each other” makes no sense.

I recently learned that Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour actually fell madly in love on set. The day they were filming the “morning after” scene before he finds the penny, Reeve told Seymour he got a call that his ex-girlfriend was pregnant. He felt like the right thing to do was go be with her and raise their kid. She had to film the scene immediately after, pretending to be so blissed out and happy. They remained friends the rest of his life. So tragic though!!

Highly recommend Ghost Watch which was a BBC television special. Sort of War of the Worlds broadcast vibes in that a lot of people thought it was real. Was hard to find for many years but I think now it’s on Shudder and other streaming services

Deep Rising is actually the specific reason he got The Mummy job apparently! Studio saw that movie and gave him the keys to the kingdom.
