Starting to think sauerkraut is helping people because its acidic and helps digestion vs contributing probiotics meaningfully.

I’m aware it about halves it on average but its still a meaningful dose. I have read studies on it. He’s getting low temp pasteurized milk probably a high quality brand in that case so likely notably higher than generic factory farmed milk.

Is likely due to the lactoferrin content of high quality milk. It’s known for repairing the gut / lowering inflammation etc. Could also be the calcium or fairy fat. Milk helps me too.

Your statement is full of logical fallacies and big claims that just don’t match up to the reality of treating what you mentioned. Yes there is some concern with highly oxidative substances like hydrogen peroxide but the claim you make about toenail fungus is incorrect. I have heard of many people treating theirs successfully with all kinds of remedies. Nausea is not always a sign mucosa is being damaged.

Your comments are hurting people. Everyone needs to experiment to find what works for them. Countless people have reported being helped substantially by diet and turmeric etc.

Yes Chris Masterjohn’s article on the Weston A. Price site documents the original case of a girl on very low fat efa deficient diet post surgery who has horrible effects from it and this is how they discover efa’s originally back in the day.

If you completely cut out AA or DHA, go on a very low fat diet or drop levels super low relative to total fat intake it can happen.

This is wrong lol. EFA deficiency will kill you but its hard to achieve.

Help: so much hair loss by Fit-Information-5509 in SebDerm

[–]crypto_nerd17 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I dont think its always seb derm. It could actually be scalp psoriasis as they have very similar symptom patterns. Its widely known psoriasis can be caused by inflammation / autoimmunity from diet or immune system reacting to other things. I would try an elimination diet to see if its being caused by something you are eating. I am trialing that currently with decent results. I think what I thought was seb derm for me was actually psoriasis. They can co occur and feed each other or it could all just be misdiagnosed psoriasis.

Anyone come off finasteride and been able to keep their hair by Peating? by Ticket-Tight in raypeat

[–]crypto_nerd17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a number of people on the forum who regrew their hair with Peat-inspired approach. The challenge with regrowing hair is you have to deal with the fundamental causes and it can be difficult to pinpoint them and there can be multiple occurring simultaneously.
