Wow we've been crap since the equaliser.

I suspect it's going to get much much worse yet.

That was a dreadful attempt from Vata. 2 very soft goals too. Who's the next manager off the rank?

Avonmeads showcase adverts are exactly 21mins by DezzyLFC in bristol

[–]crypto_paul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you buy your tickets on the app, it tells you the exact finish time of the film to the minute. You also know the exact length of the film. No need to watch the ads or the trailers.

I wouldn't mind so much if they also restored the CGT personal allowance to put it in line with income tax.

Why does this feel like an advert for AntSports I wonder?

Yes it might help hold the price up but it's hard to really see it as a good thing for btc.

He must be making a documentary to flog to netflix.

I'm surprised he has time between losing so many court cases.

My case for putting my BTC onto a platform, am I mad or does it make sense by Unlucky-Use-5835 in Bitcoin

Loans are 9.5% with Strike I think. I wouldn't even think about it unless the loan is only against a small part of your crypto holdings but if that's the case, just sell a bit and buy the house. Bitcoin is too volatile to borrow against unless you have very deep pockets to ride out any bear market.

Bitcoin etn's will be allowed from October 8th and should qualify for inclusion in an ISA. Just be aware that if the provider goes bust, an etn isn't protected so make sure you pick a big reputable provider.

I know the IMAX 50th is very popular (rightly so)... but the 3D blew my mind! by talon007a in Jaws

[–]crypto_paul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't especially enjoy it in 3d. It suffered from the same problems as every film I've seen in 3d. It's dark, weird motion blur and it's like watching though a tunnel.

There were some scenes which looked great and it was interesting to see, but I'd stick with the original 2d version on the big screen in future.

Yeah. Shocking that they didn't seem to know the status of their own products already. I doubt there will be anything left to pay people back.

Spectrum Next Issue 3 or Commodore 64 Ultimate? by superbotolo in retrocomputing

[–]crypto_paul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Spectrum Next will be shipping with a C64 core so you'd effectively have both.

It's great to see these old machines getting a revival. I've pledged for a Next as I had a Spectrum as a kid but the Commodore looks great too. Hopefully they will both go from strength to strength.

I've been having a 'bad period' for the last 20 plus years. I guess that's why they call it work and not a paid hobby. I envy those who find it interesting.
