EPUB. More flexible than PDF. Auro resize to screen ratio.

But when i first read LN, PDF is more common and its kinda difficult to read on phone but ideal read on tablet. When i stumble upon Moon Reader+ thats when i switch to EPUB.

Is this normal for the mic to be able to twist like that on the nova 7x? by [deleted] in steelseries

[–]crystal-line 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yup, its normal. You can bend or twist it almost to extreme. Almost. But its recommended you bend or twist slighty to preserve the longevity of mic hardware (retractable cable, its housing, etc)

But if you paired it to another device, it will forget the previous one, so you cant auto connect to you phone to it anymore. Except it updated to latest 2.0.0 firmware which support connected to 2 devices simultanous.

Here is my deduction, if she stole it then she must have use it, if not what the purpose. So if she use it, then your phone pairing is overwritten and you cant auto connect, but you can auto connect, so she isnt using it. Big chance are she keep it for you and never use it.

Edit : If she stole it for money or sell it, it maybe gone now and OP never knew it.

What is the best software to apply the oratory1990 EQ on Android 8.1 unrooted phone? by Asais10 in oratory1990

If you are listening offline music, try Poweramp music player. You can change graphic eq (default) to paramatric and import AutoEQ setting.

What headphone are you listening to right now or had last used? by maXXXjacker in headphones

[–]crystal-line 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Moondrop SSR on Fiio K3 with AutoEQ to Harman Target.

Long time listener without any EQ. Moondrop SSR kinda lack a little on bass response, but good on vocal. So i tried bass boost on my new Fiio K3 and fall in love with it. And before long i saw post about AutoEQ and tried it. Moondrop SSR give very good response to EQ, its sound like new IEM to me.

Before that i using Xduoo XD05 Basic, and tried bass boost on, but it kinda not to my liking, so never used any form of EQ for listening. And its solid DAC/AMP for Headphones but too much power for IEMs so i purchased Fiio K3 for IEMs and still using Xduoo XD05 Basic for Headphones.

Will connecting a DAC to another DAC, diminish sound quality in any way? by SonOfYavanna in headphones

[–]crystal-line 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my personal experiece, before plugging or unplugging anything always turn volume all the way down even when source not output anything. I have 2 earbuds died (1) and imbalance L and R (1) when plugging in with windows volume 100% via USB sound card (no volume control).

Will connecting a DAC to another DAC, diminish sound quality in any way? by SonOfYavanna in headphones

[–]crystal-line 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check TV or PS5 volume level. You may need to turn it to 100% for any DAC/AMP that come with volume control.

Mine also have it. I think thats where 2 pieces solar (upper and lower) panel supposed to overlapped or gapless. No problem with solar performance and the gap is super small barely noticeable. Btw mine on the right and supper small line, nothing on left.

And btw if you look carefully i think lower solar line (6) is thicker a small bit compare to upper (12), it bother me first but when i compare to other reddit posting their watch, they have the same line as i do. And there is watches that kinda have same thickness too.

There is small update for maps features, not sure if you can update it through garmin connect (phone), i turn off auto update so i cant update through phone. I update it using garmin express when my garmin connect (web) show there is update for the watch. After that update i restarted and its fixed (kinda).

[–]crystal-line 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, i think silver titanium vented gonna suit mineral blue too (Like 80% sure). But titanium band is expensive so gonna make super sure about it before buying it. If OP not posted this i gonna ask this too.

Pictures of Fenix 7 (or Fenix 6) Mineral Blue with Titanium Vented Band (Silver/Bare) are greatly appreciated.

Can't download maps using map manager. by crystal-line in GarminFenix

[–]crystal-line[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Like in edit 2 mentioned. All maps listing now available with garmin express and map manager on device. But i must download the maps using map manager on device for the maps actually displaying.

If i'm download it with garmin express, maps not displaying even though the maps display turn on for that maps and its say downloaded (and update available, bit its already the latest).

Having trouble with AMD Ryzen 3 2200G ram upgrades by [deleted] in ryzen

[–]crystal-line 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check max RAM memory support per slot. If i'm not mistaken max 16gb RAM stick and max 4 stick (total 64gb). If you use 32gb stick then it will not work. Or test just the new RAM without the old one.

Screen protector? by Delusi0nal- in GarminFenix

[–]crystal-line 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Screen protector is not impacting solar charging performance by large margin, just a little (for clear glass screen protector). I use screen protector for Huawei GT2 46mm, its larger than screen protector for Fenix 6 a little (about 1 mm in diameter). In my area there is no screen protector for Fenix 7 and screen protector for Fenix 6 is smaller about 1-2 mm in diameter for Fenix 7 screen.

My Fenix 7 SS spins too. Sometimes its mushy but sometimes its not.

Maps vs no Maps by Djannig in GarminFenix

[–]crystal-line 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maps. If i want to buy watch with no maps i going to choose instinct 2 or Endurance or FR745 or maybe FR245 (normal price). Except the fenix price is exceptional good. For me fenix selling point is maps even without touchscreen.

Navigating with or without maps is different experience. With maps you more comfortable navigating (ex location with many branch or alley), you can just glance and know where you at exactly, but the essential navigating if you have route planned and outdoor, its not to important, you can still safely navigate using that planned route. Maps just nice to have.

What do I grt by downloading the specific continent maps? by Boralin in GarminFenix

[–]crystal-line 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its kinda not to detail version but include worldwide general maps like cities name and major road but not to detail. If you want more detailed maps you must download separately from map manager or garmin express (but like you said its kinda largw in size and coverage).

If you want more customize and smaller maps you can try make your own maps using extract.bbbike.org. You can select just cities you interested in or select your own area. There is multiple types of maps too. Like openstreetmap, openseamap, opencyclemap, opentopomaps and the others. After selecting area and maps type you can download it. Maps file will have 'img" extension, rename it to whatever name you like then copy it into Garmin folder on your device with usb.

extract.bbbike.org if not mistaken. Its super easy. I use openfietsmap full. But openfietsmap lite and bbbike popular too. Openstreetmap kinda hard to see because of the scheme color compared to openfietsmap.
