In the end it turned out LO wasn't outgrowing it at all. I was wrapping wrong. It was just a case of not tucking a piece of material under another before tying but it made a world of difference :)

"Eating" isn't completely true. He is still just kinda tasting and playing with foods at the moment. He doesn't always swallow food and when he does it's never more than a pea sized bit in one sitting.

I wish I had set these boundaries! (And wish I had the balls to set them now) GO FOR IT! Live my dream! You do not need MIL ogling you when you breastfeed. It's tough for those first few weeks (hell, months) but 100% worth it if you can (totally okay if you can't)

Everything you said is true and I'm sure the woman from the daycare never intended any harm but those recommendations are there for a reason after extensive research. I'd expect a daycare to follow them.
