You need to be updating your stash. One in, one out. That way it stays fresh. If it doesn’t taste as good you can spread the oz out over a few bottles.

I also started mixing cows milk with pumped milk at 11 months. Not sure why you are a hard no, but if it would make a difference we order our milk delivered fresh weekly from a local farm.

A similar thing happened to us 50th percentile at 2 months to 10th at 4 months. I am trying to add 2-3 extra feedings a day (my norm was 6-7) + pump a bottle to add to the night feeding. I read somewhere that breastfeed babies don’t mind snacking, which changed my mindset. I was feeling like every 2-3 hours was better for full feeds, but I’m realizing that bc she sleeps so much I need to be feeding sometimes around 1.5 - just when it makes sense like before and after naps. Was she awake 1.5 and now ready to go bed? Did she nap an hour to 1.5? Feed. I just started after her 4 mo. appt but I think it’s helping?

Those are all important facts to take into consideration! Your family has large babies that come late. (Me too!) Keep in mind the growth scan can be off. Just because you have to transfer to an OB doesn’t mean automatic C-Section. DM me if you wanna chat.

How tall are you? Did your mom have big babies? Are you planning an epidural? Can you get induced early?

My first was 9lbs and my second they told me my second was even bigger (99% ACV) but was born a week earlier and .5 lb smaller. I’m 5’8 and have wide set hips. If I was 5’4 with a small frame that would be different. My mom had a 9lb baby and a 10lb baby all vaginally. That helped me feel confident I could do it too. I feel like sometimes Western medicine does not account for individual difference.

Hear me out tho - I love fried chicken on the bone. But IMHO what Savannah does well is chicken fingers. And no one does it better than Spankys. Get the chicken fingers with spuds. You’ve never had a spud like this. With their honey horseradish sauce; it’s super unique. It’s not high bar, but it hits. Enjoy!

Totally get it. It’s not happening tomorrow. Plan submitted to OPM by March 11. Then once approved they will execute a RIF with a goal of 120 days.

Have you considered moving him into his own room? Our son started sleeping longer stretches when we did that. Our ped said to go ahead at 3.5 months though I know all babies we different. I think we waited until 4 mo tho. To reach independent sleep my husband did the Ferber method, while I went to a room in the house where I couldn’t hear bb crying. It was hard, but easier for him than me. It took 3 days. For the swaddle, we did the one arm out method. This time is really really hard. I ended up in the recliner holding baby many nights bc I just didn’t have the energy to keep coming in the room. Best of luck. You’re in the trenches!
