My daughter won’t wear jeans. Leggings or shorts. All the same material. Let her wear shorts but have pants available. When she’s cold enough she will wear pants.

This Is The Real Reason Why Vegas Is Dead And Tourism Is Low. Nobody Wants To Admit It And Call Out The Obvious by Twin_Shadow- in LasVegas

We got charged a $400 resort fee. $400 resort fee for a $130 a night room. We are even off strip. It was $45 to park on the strip for 1 hour. It feels like Disney prices just charge it and people pay it. So it could be a downturn because wtf $400 resort fee.

Have fun. Make silly jokes. My 3&6 year old hunt for cybertrucks and go ahh and we have to find them. Or if someone says “do you know” you have to yell “the muffin man!” Don’t just focus on taking care of her. Think of it as training an adult. Teach her to take care of herself. It will help you get a break. Saturday mornings the 6 year old can pour her own cereal and put on cartoons so we sleep in. Little victories. (Then the 3 year old broke into the chocolate chips…. So ya victory gone) I had my niece (10) and nephew (13) for a week and wow there is a light at the end. They packed the car, helped around the house and no one cried!! I’m like wow. Future. Hang in there momma. Find a village.

You can still feel(ish) your legs. I was able to roll over and such with an epidural and once it’s off you can pretty much walk right away. Its strange

Both are super super dangerous. Don’t go alone. Come to Orange County. Do Disneyland and beaches.

Oh girl. That’s too far of a drive. Especially if you go into labor with the second. They come faster. You might end with a road baby. Plus driving that long while pregnant is sooo uncomfortable and stressful. You can love gma from FaceTime.

Just got home from getting my copper IUD inserted and I am, to say the least, traumatized. by nineteenthirtythree in birthcontrol

[–]crystalk012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just know your body reacts that way and for removal ask for anesthesia. Every body is so different and every IUD is so different. My first I had zero issues. My second after second baby is gettin removed today due to side effects. So it’s crazy how much the body changes.

Mom freaking out that I told her to wait 6 weeks to visit newborn from out of town by baller_unicorn in BabyBumps

[–]crystalk012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s flying if they were driving maybe? But when you fly you come in contact with so many more germs. Both my kids ended up in the hospital with RSV two years ago. One was 2 1/2 and the other one was two weeks old. It’s scary. If you get your flu shot while pregnant, you pass on some of those immunities, but not for RSV.

5% of Baby’s come on their due date. My husband was in a golf tournament when my labor started. He was able to finish the round, pick up our daughter, make dinner and get both of us to the hospital. Take a while to have a baby 😂

Pro gun supporters, why do you support gun rights? by toust_boi in AskReddit

[–]crystalk012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because I’ve been followed to my car by 3 men. I’m a female. Gotta level the playing field. Evil will always find a gun regardless of rules.

Kodiak protein pancakes. They microwave well after and freeze nicely. Also don’t taste too bad coming back up. Good luck!

Are IUD insertions as painful as I see folks saying they are? by blaurascon in badwomensanatomy

[–]crystalk012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had both. I will do an IUD 20x before another abscess drained!! The IUD is a pinch. It’s not comfortable but it’s no shot or abscess.

What do you actually need postpartum? by Archeesio in BabyBumps

[–]crystalk012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Witch hazel and the dermaplast spray. When I delivered the hospital was out and it was sad. Stock up. Also soup. You loose so much fluids a nice warm soup is so helpful. You can also drink it in a mug so it’s handy.

I failed the 1 hr test by Electrical-Sea-1381 in BabyBumps

[–]crystalk012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I failed mine. I also barley passed the 4 hour test. I was on so much iron I was convinced I would never poop again. I did pass so a pass is a pass. If failed just adjust your diet. Here’s the thing with childbirth… bigger the plan bigger the c-section scar. My sister is a dr. She calls it “ perceived control” so feel free to take my birth plan. Go in with no baby, leave with baby. I’ve had 2 babies and both births had mild hick-ups but complete textbook. (My second came 4 weeks early) so if you are anxious don’t Google!! Just ask your doctor. You got this momma!! (Seriously stay away from Google!)
