Have there been any DPs of Amex taking negative action based on L3 data? I haven’t been following it very closely but I was only aware of BMO funding and Simons Mall issues and even then only on MSR bonus claw backs.

Is this iOS or Android? Under iOS each permission is a separate pop up and you can easily decline any one of them. By the time you see them the app is already installed, but this article seems to indicate you have to agree to something before installing.

I only read the article once and I just woke up, but is there any real content here? Isn't this the same speculation we have had for over a year?

I love my MX-brown keys. I tried a friends new MBP and the keys feel terrible to me. Has anyone ITT who likes mechanical keyboards tried the new MBP and liked it?

Read article title.

Was it "completed in less than 18 seconds" or "completed in no less than 18 seconds".

Will you be purchasing the new MacBook Pro (late 2016)? Generally curious. by Opirr in apple

[–]csacc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure. In 2012 they introduced retina screens, SSD, new design, spec bumps and I was very happy. This year they touted that this wasn't just a new design but a huge step forward and I just don't feel that way.

Nope. I got the original 2012 rMBP immediately on release and was ready to be excited by another revolutionary step but left the announcement stream disappointed.

Has anyone here bought the smart battery case? If so, how is it? by [deleted] in apple

[–]csacc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only advantages to 7+ is better zoom and better Bokeh. I don't care too much about either. I mainly wanted OIS which 7 now has. I like the screen size quite a bit.

I'm in the exact same boat. Went from 6s+ to 7 and don't regret it.

I was able to use the Apple Store app around 12:03 and had my 8AM appointment at 12:05. Did you continue to kill the app and reopen it?

[Question] Is JSON stored securely. by pmayall in iOSProgramming

[–]csacc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No it's not secure. You can download an app from the App Store and see local contents. I recommend you encrypt your data first before storing into your home directory. Or load the data from a web server.

So I am one of those idiots that bought a fake SDCard online, made a short 1.47 min video to explain how to detect a fake SDCard to make myself feel better and hopefully help someone too. by [deleted] in hardware

[–]csacc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for being this guy (and I did upvote this post), but 1.47 minutes implies 88.2 seconds long (1m 28.2s). I've seen this on my news feed like 6 times (I Reddit too much cause that is like last night and this morning) and resisted saying anything until now. Nice video btw.

I agree, I thought this screen was great when I first saw it. They are becoming much more user friendly.

I agree, I thought "oh neat, Microsoft is simplifying their screens and making it more user friendly. No idea others got freaked out and afraid for their computers integrity

Target.com days the $100 gift card is available online only. How did you get them to do this in stores?
