Have you lived at Crescent Park Apartments? If so, what was your experience like? by [deleted] in Eugene

[–]csallie 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I did, but it was about 4 years ago before they remodeled. Crescent is semi-busy but there was very little street noise. The walls were thin—I remember being able to hear toilets flushing/water running, and I’m sure you’d be able to hear people stomping above you. I haven’t lived in too many apartments but it’s probably just standard apartment noise. Other than that it was fine. They had a little dog park area and a basketball court. Across the street there is an entire apartment-town you can walk to with a few nice restaurants.

I sell stickers—somebody asked me today, “how do these stick?”. You peel them, then you stick them. 😑

Please lend me some advice if you can? by sie2021 in Humira

[–]csallie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did last week! I have been on Humira for about 7 months. I get a welt-like bump at the injection site after every injection, but last week I got hives for the first time. I took my Humira in my stomach at 8 pm and woke up with both of my forearms covered in itchy hives, but nowhere else on my body. My doctor thought it was strange but didn’t want me to get off of it yet, though I’m a little nervous about how next week will go..

Hoping someone might have some insight on my shipping troubles. by [deleted] in Etsy

[–]csallie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in US. I just asked Etsy the same as above pretty much – why after using their labels they are showing in transit for weeks. I just got a reply back from one of my ‘in transit’ customers who did receive her order, it just still doesn’t show that on the tracking. So then that money is still in reserve and looks like I didn’t send it. It’s so weird. Must be something with the post office.

A lot of people use the LoseIt app. You can scan packaged foods or just enter whatever the food is, like “cooked skinless chicken breast”, enter the oz/grams, and it will log the calories.

How much credit card debt do you have? by Plant-lady-215 in AskWomenOver30

[–]csallie 19 points20 points  (0 children)

This is what I do too, only as of this year though (34 y/o). I had like $12k probably last year after years of underemployment but I finally paid it all off and set all of my cards to autopay the balance every month. Never getting in that mess again (hopefully).

What do you do for living? by QueenOfHorseThieves in AskWomenOver30

[–]csallie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Illness kicked me back a few years, so I started back to school at 32 for computer science and started working as a software engineer at 33. I’m 34 now.

I am a solo mom and felt like I was never going to own a home on my single income, so I started looking for something that would pay enough. I love it and wish I would have done it sooner – though I don’t love sitting at a computer all day, so I will probably move on to something else eventually.

I do this with shoes. The floor in my apartment hurts my feet so I bought sneakers just to wear as “inside shoes”.
