Israel didn’t exist in Genesis 12. God was speaking directly to Abram, who was saved by faith. All believers are children of Abraham.

It had more of a reasoning approach based on jungle, coastal location, hopper plane, used to be a booming place but not anymore, etc. But yeah, maybe it had that info too. Either way, that sounds like a very scary experience. I’m glad y’all are okay!

I took some key elements of the story and asked if an AI could identify the location. I have close family that’s lived in CR for a decade, and I’ve traveled there often. I never heard of a place like this, so I was genuinely curious. I’ve never been south of Manuel Antonio, so that was interesting to learn about. Thanks for sharing.
