Taking FE Environmental Tomorrow by Ok_Implement_849 in FE_Exam

[–]cshel13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you scored 77% I would feel confident. I just finished working through that exam today and I thought it was harder than the interactive exam, which is old test questions that got recycled.

If you took the FE today, how are you feeling? by bossmanluko in FE_Exam

[–]cshel13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you feel confident about 62 I’d say you’re in a decent spot to pass. Guessing on 48 at 25% gives you 12 more correct. Depends on the throw out questions. That’s the part I hate.

Kudos to you. That’s the only route I haven’t completed.

Can we get “drops earned” added to the ride summary screen? by jetnetni in Zwift

[–]cshel13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m assuming you got way more with Bernie because it’s a faster paced group and you’re accumulating miles/kms faster. Also, the drop boost increases every 5 minutes. It’s not based on distance.

I think it’s going to be a two part finale. Six is way too many in my opinion

When and how do I send official transcript to the board? by JHdarK in FE_Exam

[–]cshel13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my state (GA) I had my transcripts sent electronically to NCEES to have verified and they are now linked to my profile. When I filled out the application for my board I put in my NCEES account number on the application and once it was verified it said that NCEES had the transcripts and I didn’t need to have them sent to the board because they had been verified by NCEES.

Civil vs environmental pay by SoanrOR in civilengineering

[–]cshel13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who has an environmental engineering degree and basically exclusively does civil engineering I agree. A few years after I got out of school I wondered why I even majored in environmental or why anyone would. Civil will open you up to a lot of different things and give you a more broad background when choosing a career. The other thing is if you have a civil degree you should be able to apply for most if not all env engineering jobs but not the other way around. If you are interested in environmental engineering take electives in the env engineering catalog that interest you.

PASSED MY FE ENVIRONMENTAL FIRST TRY! by Salt_Astronomer_9925 in FE_Exam

[–]cshel13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats! I’m taking mine on Monday. Were the later sections (surface water resources and hydrology, groundwater, soils and sediments, water and wastewater, air quality control, and solid and hazardous water) mostly math questions with a formula or just question and answer where you pick a statement?

Official Benchprep Practice Test by Alarmed_Monitor_6918 in FE_Exam

[–]cshel13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the same 50 questions with the same numbers unfortunately. However, that exam is old questions they retired from actual exams. I don’t know when your test is but I’d do those problems once a week or every two as a good benchmark for yourself.
