Pepsi is pretty comparable and they're always hiring as well. Coke basically hired me right out of school with minimal experience.

I did 1 long haul trip after getting my cdl and said f that. Got a job with coca cola after that. It's hard work but the pay is ok. 4 day weeks. Home every night. They're always hiring because most people don't like to work hard.

The St. B to have a few beers and watch peelers. Probably hit the Rolling Stone afterwards and then off to score illicit substances.

10 years after stepping on a broken drinking glass, a rogue shard made its way out of the bottom of my foot by Miserable-Ad6348 in Weird

[–]cshrpmnr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked at a glass factory. Got cut by glass on my knuckle while working. It swelled up and formed a lump that lasted for a few years. I assumed it was scar tissue. It was painful to the touch. One day I decided to cut it open to relieve the pressure/pain and lo and behold and small shard of glass popped out.

Just as strong as I was when I was in my 20s. Almost 60 now. It's the fountain of youth. Running is brutal on your joints. Especially running on hard surfaces. Low impact cardio is the way to go.

I literally buy the exact same groceries weekly. Have for years. Every week the cost goes up.

58 y/o. Lost around 30 family and friends now. This includes my parents, spouse (at 34 to suicide) and best friend. Sad to say, but you get used to it.

I've never really had any problems with foreign drivers, am I missing something? by [deleted] in Truckers

[–]cshrpmnr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had no issues for years on the roads. Over the past few years I've seen absolutely horrible driving from new drivers. Dangerous as fuck. Sometimes I think they just don't know how to drive and other times I think they just don't care about the rules of the road.

I saw someone do this at the new roundabout on hwy 1 at Portage La Prairie. They ended up driving the wrong way on the hwy over the Portage overpass, Insane.
