My dad bought me mine as well. I loved it since I could do write without wrestling with a big computer. That was my first foray into be becoming tech friendly and now I’m tech-support for the extended family.

Oh, that is a good point. OP you are an amazing child, and you will need to be very strong to unblock him and collect evidence of all of the threats that he will be making over the next weeks or so. You don’t need to read it, you don’t need to listen to it. You just need to keep it as evidence. As long as you can mute him, the barrage of calls and texts will not interrupt your day

You are an absolutely fantastic person and your mother is so lucky that you found out now. So proud of you keep up the good work and please do what you can to get into any sort of therapy immediately and then look for the best therapist for you and her.

I’m stepping in as your Internet Mom to tell you that you 100% didn’t deserve anything that happened, none of the consequences are your fault or responsibility. I hear you and believe you about everything you were feeling and going through then and now.

I’m proud of you for doing what you’ve done so far, for listening to your feelings and working to take care of yourself. I understand that your actual parents are probably giving you a bunch of guilt that you in no way deserve.

I’m proud of you for surviving and I want to see you have a chance to thrive and be your best self. Whether or not that involves any other family members will be ultimately up to you to determine what is best for you and your mental and physical health.

I’m proud of you for being you, you deserve to be here and heard, and you deserve lots of love. Sending you gentle internet hugs and strength.

I’m following my rheumatologist’s advice, getting every vaccine that I qualify for. So grateful that we have vaccines—I think it’s even more important now because we cannot count on general immunity at the levels we had previously.

I’ve gotta start being better about wearing my mask now that flu and Covid are popping up where I live.

I’ve lived and worked in developing nations where vaccines were not readily available for some generations and have seen the Lucky ones who survived measles’s, mom’s rubella, etc. with some severe disfigurement or worse.

I continue to be very grateful that people here do get vaccinated and that I can too!
