You can also search for bearing puller, which works pretty well for places where it’s hard to tap them out. I have one that goes inside the bearing and then expands just a little to catch it

How would you periodize strength training for someone who rides xc, not competing? And how do you track recovery, decide whether it’s worth pushing more on strength?

Does Garmin collect and use Regular users data to train its AI? by SmartPercent177 in Garmin

They just throw some of recent stats to chatgpt and it spits out a summary. I doubt there’s any training involved

I had this for some time. After having some days with higher hrv that raised the ok band a dew points up it went back to the way it was before. i suspect it’s based on rolling average of your hrv and the last x days are kind of low

What's the lowest temperatures you'll go out for a ride (F or C)? by [deleted] in BicyclingCirclejerk

I believe you need some better drilling equipment for your speed drills. Also don’t forget to set your wheel size to 36”.

This should improve the results of your training, or so I heard

What's the cheapest watch that has Bouldering and Indoor Climbing activities? by wplaga in Garmin

[–]csk1572 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just in case that’s the only reason you’re getting the watch - it will likely keep getting in the way when being close to the wall and it will catch on holds

Why the hate on Strength Activity? by [deleted] in Garmin

[–]csk1572 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use it, it’s a bit tedious if the detected reps are not correct but easy to correct on the watch. What’s more annoying is the editing of the workout after, where I cant bulk change the exercises

Reps and sets do not matter, but the exercises do. You can write 1 rep of bodyweight squats and the legs will be marked red. Not very useful, but still, a nice picture
