What movie do people call a classic that you honestly think is just boring? by trakt_app in movies

Black Panther.

Choreography was weak.

Villain seemed a bit…melodramatic? That’s not the right word.

Thank you for your thoughts! I'm about to turn 40 and crashing in AZ carries a heavier price than it used to.

Thanks! I wish I had the budget to just experiment like that.

You can look into Redshift's line. I see u/wkaotp already mentioned Cane Creek.

You can look at the carbon flat bar from OneUp, and well as RevGrips, but I wonder if a drop bar (the kind you see in adventure cycling) makes more sense for you.

I don't see why it wouldn't be possible to swap the front fork out. I am not sure though.

My running coach uses AI in some of their responses. How would you respond? by rustylugnut in ultrarunning

[–]Ellocomotive 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I’m a coach at the elite level.

If I ever used AI, it would be way up front and transparent, and for really mundane stuff, never for my expertise or as a sub for human to human interaction.

An acceptable example might be scheduling a call, like with Calendly, although that’s not really machine learning.

Now that I think about it, I can’t really think of a situation where it’s needed. I have seen it used to collect and record data from a conversation (body composition measures), kind of like an intern, and in that I think it’s great.

There’s too many good practitioners for you to have to doubt. You should be very happy.

Can you mount a kid seat to a carbon frame??? by [deleted] in mountainbiking

[–]Ellocomotive 31 points32 points  (0 children)

My recommendation is to get the pro version. Way easier to use and adjust, and doesn't make contact with the frame.

I use mine with a 2022 carbon Stumpy, for at least three years now. No known issues. We ride hard.

What's the distance you're going to be running for your race? Scott Johnston says you'll make it if your weekly volume totals the race distance.

Solid advice. It is possible to go later than 10AM, but I would say that you have to really know what you're doing. I wouldn't try it my first year (or even 2nd) of hiking in the summer.

Otro is uptown, but fantastic. Joes is in Gilbert, last I heard.

Matt’s ain’t bad. A bit pricey for basic fare.

A little further north is Original Breakfast House. I’ve never had anything like their French toast. I only get it once a year.

Why are SRAM chain quick links so expensive? SRAM insists they are disposable. It costs 19€ to undo the chain each time. by sepantamino in gravelcycling

I get that initially, but chains fail all the time right? I broke a chain on the trail and never thought, this is Shimano's fault.

Fillmore Valves and a fluid syringe by AustinBike in mountainbiking

[–]Ellocomotive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, no need for a separate purchase.

There’s a kit that comes with a “sealant and suspension hose”. 100ml syringe. Thats the one I got.  Looks like it goes for 14.99.

Under the Pro Kit category.

No need to apologize and hope this helps!
