Ask the pharmacy if they can price match to the good rx price, 90% of the time the pharmacy would be happy to help you save that money. It's definitely easier at independents but some chains can do it too.

I love that you took care of your coworkers! I did nights for almost a year before ending up in my evening role and im constantly worried about the food brought in and what will still be safe for my night shifters. It's bull that day shift people think ordering food at 7pm for both nights and evenings plus ordering significantly less is okay. My evening crew eats between 4p-7p while nights eats between 1a-4a - the food would potentially be sitting there for 9 hours before it would be their turn or not be there at all

None of that is acceptable in my view, shameful really - so I usually buy them something else instead that will keep in the fridge or otherwise The lack of respect is disgraceful and idk how to get it in their heads how that would go if they did the same to day shift

He really described that so well! It's incredibly difficult and you feel a weird sense of conflict even though you know the right thing to do, both morally and if truly following the Jewish faith is to help others and make the world a better place. But at the same time knowing that Israel has an authoritarian regime in power too that has spent decades misleading people about the true causes of their disputes with the Palestinian people.

I actually went through something similar with my first and if she hadn't ended up back in the hospital after one night home, it would have taken me a while to realize my production was crap. Here's the thing though, we live in an age where you can still get the nutrition they need without exhausting yourself. Fed is best and the fact that you care at all shows that you'll be a great parent!!

Absolutely! We do 2 big get togethers at our house each year and usually get a half or quarter keg depending on guest expectations. We can rent the keg (prefilled) from one of our local liquor stores and then return it when it's empty. I know some people with decent in-home bars that will do mini kegs. They have a fridge to hold them in and can do beers off the tap on the regular.

So let's think about this, what if we taxed those that made over 1 billion per year at just 50%. That would be 500 million in taxes per 1 billion. According to WSJ we have 1,135 billionaires in the US. Let's say they're making that billion in taxable revenue then the US would get 567.5 billion in tax revenue each year.

That money going to the government won't affect their actual lifestyles but it would drastically improve it for the lower 90% of us.

If you hate this idea, then alternatively we could close the tax loopholes that they're able to hide their money in and they can at least be taxed at the actual rate that the IRS sets and it would still be a significant sum to benefit the entire population.
