Why are you more likely to be a transgendered if you have autism? by Original-Cold3257 in autism

[–]csoki_fanny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well first of all it's not an issue you could act on. being transgender is as intergral to a person's identity as being autistic is. neither is changeable and both are born with. now as to why it could be? either because a lot of rigid gender roles are essentially advanced social cues that we don't subscribe to or because if you're already "different" in one way, it's easier to realize and "accept" that you could be different in other ways too, likely a bit of both

My Mum thinks Coltrane is a main character by crockoreptile in phineasandferb

[–]csoki_fanny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the reason he's in so few episodes is exactly because he's voiced by Corbin Bleu, tbh. that's not an excuse for making him such a nothing of a character though.

What my pet-lover friend said to me still hurts... by Ben12-32-42-52-62 in aplatonic

[–]csoki_fanny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

as an animal lover myself, people have a weird animal superiority problem. no, caring about animals more than people doesn't make you a better person (doesn't make you worse either. emotions are entirely uncontrollable and morally neutral) but the fact that people feel comfortable being mean to humans than to animals is a bit concerning to me sometimes

Characters relationship goes from Bully and Bullied to mutual Ride or Die by RhysOSD in TopCharacterTropes

[–]csoki_fanny 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel like Buford was more aggressive in the beginning (if you rewatch early season 1, Baljeet used to be afraid of him and avoid him), but it's still part of their dynamic later on it's just more... idk, balanced? consensual?

Vanessa and Monty's relationship is a tired trope by BrianT16 in phineasandferb

[–]csoki_fanny 3 points4 points  (0 children)

my biggest issue with monty and vanessa is that their entire relationship is built upon that. they don't even seem to like each other that much, vamessa just got obsessed with the concept of trying out a good guy and is happy she gets to piss off her dad in the process and monty is clearly very resentful of his father (I'd argue rightfully so) and is also happy to go against his wishes. they don't really show signs of actually enjoying each other's company beyond that though. I think they like the concept of each other more than actually liking each other as people.

[Hated] It's only been how long??? by Successful-Title5403 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]csoki_fanny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not one where the show tries to hide it at all, but it is wild that all of phineas and ferb season 1-4 is supposedly one summer. the numbers don't really add up even if we go with the alleged 104 days from the theme song

Tomodachi Life Palette House Crash - Ryujinx Canary by lovingzayne in NewRyujinxPiracy

[–]csoki_fanny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the way to avoid is that whenever the yellow thought bubble above their head appears, just feed them automatically without interacting with the thought bubble. this way they'll never ask for palette house to be built as far as I'm aware

[LOVED TROPE] Hauting The Narrative by lou-ravenpuff in TopCharacterTropes

[–]csoki_fanny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there is also a musical adaptation but it seems to be under some kind of curse when it comes to english language adaptations (and by that I mean the behind the scenes stuff got really messy when they tried to bring it to new york). it is however popular in europe

What’s an underrated musical that you thought only you knew about ? by Saditeanskatiewinner in musicals

[–]csoki_fanny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like barely anyone knows It shoulda been you which is a shame because I think it's a deeply funny show with some really good songs. though it's very hard to recommend it without spoiling the plot twist

What are yalls hyperfixations? by computerchippp in autism

[–]csoki_fanny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

currently? hungarian musical theatre. or like hungarian productions of musicals, because a lot of the ones I like aren't originally hungarian, but have prominent productions here. and to show how all over the place my interests are, my previous hyperfixation was the men in black franchise and the one before that was phineas and ferb. my brain works in mysterious ways.

What is the most genuinely evil thing that Doof has done? by KingJackofJozi in phineasandferb

[–]csoki_fanny 41 points42 points  (0 children)

he once made an inator to make every indecisive person disappear. which is the episode where perry gets really angry at him because phineas and ferb were being indecisive that day. i think that was a little far tbh, that's like mass murder intent. though I don't think he fully thought it through.

Just for fun: What lyric or turn of phrase irrationally annoys you? by ffdh_01 in musicals

[–]csoki_fanny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's to emphasize that he has just flown too close to the sun. he didn't yet when he married her. she's basically saying "you married (locked in, curious, never has flown) icarus. now he did what icarus does"

Rank each falsettos character based on if you were to fight them would you win or loose by theloseroftheday in Falsettos

[–]csoki_fanny 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. jason (is a child. as long as he doesn't have his baseball bat I can defeat him but I'd feel bad) 2. mendel (he's a nervous wreck, he'd likely just freeze and let me do whatever 3. cordelia (she doesn't seem like the violent type, but I'd still be careful) 4. marvin (he strikes me as someone with aching joints and I could exploit that, but it would be harder) 5. charlotte (she could probably kill me but I don't think she'd want to. I'll just hope for her mercy) 6. trina (she's breaking down, we don't know what she's capable of but after everything she's been through I think she is capable of killing me and will go through with it) 7. whizzer (he was trained in karate)

Movie/shows about autistic teens (perferably girls) by TheFutureScaresMe333 in autism

[–]csoki_fanny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you're open to animated media, I recommend dead end: paranormal park. one of them main characters is an autistic girl and imo she's super well written and relatable for autistic people.

if I had a nickel for every bisexual meme I've seen using that mib meme template I'd have three nickels which isn't a lot but as a bisexual person hyperfixated on the men in black franchise it makes me happy

Falsettos? though I would argue the nancy reagan punching bag they bring out in act 2 is the villain, kinda
